I am flawed.
Crying in my own corner.
Stuck in a beautiful, perfect world.
Underneath all this beauty, lies unfurl.
What they say isn't true.
Life isn't beautiful.
It is dark.
Shadowy and shady.
Sad and blue.
I wish that
Shadows would engulf me
Hiding me from the perfect world
That I live in.
Because I am
Flawed.
When people tell me,
"You're not truly sad"
"I've seen you happy before"
What they don't know
doesn't hurt them.
It only
Hurts the one
Who knows she is Flawed.
I say back: "What do you know? You don't truly know me, do you?"
Because I know it's true.
I cry, under the blankets at night
I do everything wrong.
Something's trying to pull me out.
I can't reach
Because I am
Flawed.
My terrible poetry strikes again.

PoetryJust a few poems. I'll write as much as possible. Some sad, some thoughtful. Okay mostly sad. Fun fact: Monster's Cage and Saviour were written for class.
