You live next door to your best friends, Ethan and Grayson. But recently, you've been feeling a bit more than friends with Ethan. But you don't want to risk your friendship, it's too valuable.

The twins live alone, their family back in New Jersey. On this one early Sunday morning, you open one eye as the sunlight shines through your eyelids. You slip out from under the covers, and swiftly pull on some shorts, grabbing your keys and heading out the door, over to their house.

You unlock the front door and step inside, shutting the door behind you. You sigh in exasperation, realizing the twins still aren't up. I mean, they are heavy sleepers. You quietly bound up the stairs, cracking Ethan's door open and peeking inside. The sunlight engulfs Ethan's face, and you walk to his side of the bed. As you lean over to shake him up, you notice a singular tear slipping down the side of his face.

Startled, you lay one hand on his chest and wipe the tear with the back of your other hand. His eyelids flicker, and Ethan opens his eyes. You stutter and back away, but he takes your hand in his, pulling you closer. He continues to pull you closer as he slips out from under the covers.

Your rambling is quickly cut off as he engulf you in a hug, and you quickly stop talking and hug back.

"I love you," he mutters, and it's everything you could have ever wanted.
