Happy Holidays for the Hedgehogs

  It was Christmas Eve on Bygone Island and everyone was excited, the children mostly of course. The young ones would race about through the blankets of snow, start snowball fights, or just mingle with one another over what they asked Santa Claus for this year. The grown-ups were busy shopping for gifts, materials, and decorations for the holidays. Anyways, we now shift our view to a familar hut with a familar blue hedgehog within it. Instead of spending time outside in some sort of winter activity, Sonic was sleeping in his hammock. He had switched his trademark brown neckerchief for a red one with snowflakes on it. As the hedgehog slept peacefully, he didn't notice a females shadow hovering over him. The female poked Sonic a couple times to try and wake him up. Unfortunately, Sonic didn't wake up and instead flipped onto his stomach and began snoring louder. "Oh Sonic.." the female giggled as she got closer to him. She lifted Sonics head up before planting a big kiss on his lips. Sonic slowly opened his eyes to see his girlfriend Amy smiling at him. After recovering from a bit of shock, Sonic sat up and wrapped his arms around the pink hedgehog and returned the kiss. After a few minutes, they released to catch their breath and smiled at each other. "Now that is a wake up call that I'd get used to." Sonic chuckled. Amy giggled. "I knew you'd love it." she replied pecking his nose.

"How do I look?" Amy asked, hoping for good feedback from Sonic. Amy's outfit resembled her usual one except that this one was lime green with red stockings, and a shiny red headband to go with it. "You look stunning." Sonic smiled. Amy blushed a little. "Thanks. By the way, Sonic?.." she asked. Sonics ears perked up as his listened closely. "Yeah Ames?" "Well, I know its Christmas Eve and we're gonna be hanging out with the others later today for eggnog but, I was hoping that you'd like to have some winter fun with me." Amy said. Sonic raised an eyebrow. "You know that its pretty cold out there and its supposed to snow even more later today right?.. Also, I don't wanna risk slipping on the icy ground." Sonic replied. Knowing that Sonic wasn't gonna budge that easy, Amy resorted to her best move. She looked deep into Sonics eyes as her own eyes got bigger and she gave an adorable pouty face. Sonic tried looked away but it was difficult to do so."Can't...resist.....those puppy eyes..." he thought to himself. He gave out a sigh of defeat and looked at Amy. "Alright. I guess we can have some fun." he grinned and gave a thumbs up. Amy gave a big grin and tackled Sonic to the floor. "THANK YOU! THANK YOU!" Amy squealed as she planting small kisses on Sonics face. The speedster hedgehog smiled at his girlfriends instant hyper behavior. "Maybe this won't be so bad after all." he thought to himself.

Soon, the hedgehog couple were walking through the snow and holding hands. Sonic had on a light blue winter coat and some matching boots to go with it. Amy was wearing a purple winter coat, some pink earmuffs, a pink scarf, and some matching boots. As they walked, Amy was thinking about the fun things that they could do. "What should we do first?" she thought to herself. She took a break from her thought and looked at Sonic, who had his focus on the snowy scenery ahead of him. Suddenly, Amy had a sneaky idea in mind. She slowly slid her hand out of Sonics grasp and walked backwards. Sonic didn't realize that Amy wasn't walking with him. Taking advantage of this moment, Amy picked up some snow and started molding it into a circle. With a devious, playful grin, she walked behind Sonic and tapped his shoulder. "What is it Am-" Sonic said before getting hit in the face with a snowball. Wiping the snow away from his eyes, he saw Amy grinning. "Don't look at me. I didn't do anything." she said to him. "So that's how you wanna play it huh?.." Sonic thought to himself. Sonic sat on the ground with his back turned and started forming a snowball. Thinking that Sonic was upset, Amy's smile turned into a look of concern as she approached Sonic. "I didn't think that would upset you Sonic. I honestly thought that you would throw one back at m-" Amy's words were interrupted by a snowball to the face. Sonic stood up and chuckled. "Gotcha!" he playfully taunted. After realizing that she just fell for Sonics tricks, Amy ran after the hedgehog with a couple of snowballs.

"You're gonna pay for that one!" She called, chucking snowballs at Sonic. Sonic easily dodged the snowballs and kept on running. He made sure not to use his full speed so that Amy would have a chance to catch up with him. Minutes passed by as the two had kicked their snowball fight into overdrive. With all the acrobatic dodges and perfectly timed throws, the snowball fight was so spectacular that some villagers had sat down and watched it go down. "SONIC! SONIC!" half of them chanted. "AMY! AMY!" the other side chanted. Having their confidence boosted by their adoring audience, the two kept going at it until they became exhausted. They walked towards each other and shook each others hand. "Good game Ames." Sonic smiled. "You too." Amy replied. Neither of them knew that the other secretly had another snowball behind their backs but, the audience did. As expected, Sonic and Amy threw their final snowballs at each other and laughed. The audience gave a cheer as the two hedgehog took a bow. Soon, everyone left as the hedgehog couple decided to head back to Sonics shack before meeting up with the others for eggnog.


*Time-skip to Christmas night*

Sonic and Amy had just left the Christmas party that was hosted at Tails's house. They had a fun time chatting, decorating delicious cookies (which Knuckles scarfed down most of), and handing out presents. Right now, the hedgehog couple each had a final gift to give to each other. They were currently sitting across from each other holding a present. Sonic was holding a magenta colored present with a blue ribbon on top. The gift tag said: Amy Rose. Amy, on the other hand, had an indigo present with an azure ribbon on top. The gift tag said: Sonic. "Why don't you open yours first?" Amy smiled. Sonic nodded and started tearing the wrapping paper off before lifting the lid off the box off. He gave a big smile as he pulled out his present. He had recieved some brand new speed shoes. They were black with neon blue on the bottom, and the shoe buckle also neon blue. "Ames. These are awesome, thank you." Sonic said wrapping an arm around Amy. The pink hedgehog smiled as she recieved a short but loving kiss on the cheek. "You're welcome Sonic." she smiled. She watched as Sonic admired his new speed shoes. Sonic's curiousity led him to a yellow button on the sides of his shoes. "What does this do?" Sonic asked, pointing at the suspicious button. Amy smiled. "Tails lended a hand with that feature. When you press the button, a pair of skate blades come out so, in case you ever want to go skating or its very icy outside then that would be useful." Amy explained. Sonic knew that he would have to thank Tails for that later but now, he was ready to give Amy her present. Placing his shoes back into the box, he presented Amy with her Christmas gift. "Here you go Ames." he smiled. Amy took the box and started tearing the wrapping paper off and opened up the box. She gasped in surprise as she saw two shiny purple ring-bracelets. She instantly put them on and watched as they sparkled. "Thank you Sonic!" she said excitedly. Sonic smiled. "There is still one more thing in the box." Amy took a second look inside of the box and saw a golden heart locket. Amy's smile got brighter as she looked at the locket. "It's beautiful." she said to him. "Open it and see what's inside." he said. Amy slowly opened the locket and discovered a picture of her kissing Sonic on the lips. Sonics blushing was noticeable and made the scene more adorable. Amy was hit right in the feels form the memories as the tears started to slowly form. Sonic pulled her close to him and smiled. "That was our first date..." he told her. "I'll forever cherish that in my heart... I love you Sonic." she said. Sonic wrapped an arm around her. "I love you to...my lovely Amy Rose." he replied. They met in a loving kiss before resting in each other embrace. Two spirits who would never part from each other, their love growing stronger every day....

Here it is. Now, with the Sonic Boom Christmas fic, I might release it tomorrow or the 26th. Anyways, Merry Christmas to all and have a Happy New Year
