Winter Tale (VIXX Leo X Reader)

(Y/N) P.O.V
It was winter all over again. The snow covered the sidewalks and coated the tall trees with white crystals.

I smiled as I walked quietly admiring the winter snow but as much as I admired the winter, I couldn't wait to get home.

To snuggle up under a blanket with some nice hot chocolate and gingerbread cookies.

Leo's P.O.V
I walked beside, watching her eyes sparkle at the sight before us. I smiled a soft smile.

I entangled our hands and looked down at her shorter frame. "Are you cold ?" I asked.

She simply just shook her head and smiled. "I'm warm just being around you." She said with a big smile.

Once we got home, we relaxed together in the living room on the couch. The warmth of one another keeping us warm.

(Y/N) P.O.V
I prepared a hot chocolate and a vanilla latte for Leo. We stayed by each other till it was midnight.

A well toned arm snaked around me from behind, catching me in a hug. I could feel his soft breathing on the back of my neck.

"Merry Christmas, (y/n)." He whispered. I turned to hug him back as tight as I could. "Merry Christmas, Taek."

Leo's P.O.V
I reached into my pocket and pulled out a small box wrapped in shiny silver wrapping paper.

I gave it to (y/n). I watched her as she opened the small box. She blinked a couple of times before turning to me.

"Taek....thank you ! I love it." She grinned and engulfed me in another tight hug.

Inside contained a necklace, a star pendent rested there with a shimmering crystal in the middle.

"Starlight." I mumbled but she seemed to pick it up. "Starlight ?" She said back confused.

I smiled and took the necklace from her hands to put it on. "You're my starlight." I said.

(Y/N) P.O.V
I placed a soft kiss at the top of his forehead and thanked him again. I gave him his gift after.

Soon we headed off to bed. With soft whispers of 'goodnights' and 'I love you's' Leo had drifted off to sleep.

I watched as he slept and smiled. "I love you more than anything the world could offer." I said and drifted off to sleep right next to him.

3rd Persons P.O.V
But that was years ago. Today was finally Christmas again. The snow was falling. The cold wind was blowing trough the air.

Nothing has changed except for a certain house. The house was dimly lit with only normal lights.

No decorations to be found. No Christmas songs playing. No Christmas or winter spirits felt.

In the dimly lit house sat a man, staring at nothing in particular. In front of him, on the table sat a picture of his loved one.

Leo's P.O.V
It's Christmas again. The once lively house was as quiet as ever. Without a single trace of Christmas spirit.

Today was the 4th year of her passing. I sat on the couch, thinking of all the years we had spent together.

She was the light that gave me life. I hadn't celebrated Christmas since the day she left. It just wouldn't feel right.

I loved her dearly and I knew she loved me back. But it will take time before I move on and start to smile again.

"(Y/n), I hope you're smiling up there. I miss you down here so you better wait for me till I can see you again." I said to no one in particular.

She had left a letter for me that I found not long after she passed. It said how she knew her time was coming.

But it also said how much she appreciated the times we spent together and that she wanted me to always be happy and smile no matter how hard things get.

In the end, I couldn't fulfill her wishes cause I couldn't help but break down each year. But I've got to stay strong for her.

"(Y/n), I love you. You'll forever be my starlight."

As you all know I've been on hiatus for a long time now and I'm really sorry for that !
I've just been caught up on a lot of things...

Also...IM REALLY SORRY IF THIS STORY WAS REALLY EMOTIONAL AND SAPPY !!!

A close friend of mine recently passed away. She was a dedicated starlight. Her name was Fay. Maybe some of you may have knew her on Instagram. (@vixx4starlight) She was like a sister to me. I can't believe she's gone. She was such a pure and kind hearted girl. I can never find a person like her ever again in my life but she's now free from her burdens so I should be happy but I keep breaking down.

So this story is actually dedicated to her in a way. I'm sorry if it puts you all off. I'll remove the story if it makes any of you uncomfortable.
