Chapter 13

Matt's POV

Yesterday with Adria was perfect. Despite the confusion we had earlier that day, it turned out to be perfect.

My phone got a text message.

Adria ♥

: Good morning handsome :)

I smiled at it and replied.

To: Adria ♥

: Good morning beautiful girl :) You wanna chill today?

She replied almost instantly.

Adria ♥

: Sure! To like the mall or something?

To: Adria ♥

: Yup! :) so it's a date.

Adria ♥

: Alright babe (＾▽＾)

I got out of bed to get ready for today. I showered and fixed my hair. I put on a cream colored shirt with geometric shapes on it and kahki pants with my vans. I sprayed on my body spray and left to Adrias house.

I knocked on her door and her mother let me in.

"Good morning Ms.Coleman" I said smiling at her as i shut the door behind me.

"Good morning Matthew" she said hugging me

"I believe you're here to see Adria. She's in her room right now but you can go so her I guess" she said

I nodded and went to Adria's room. Her door was creaked open. I knocked slightly and there was no answer. I opened the door fully and stood outside her room. She wasn't there so I went inside and just then she came out of the bathroom with a towel rapped around her.

"There you are!" I said

"Oh my gosh Matt! You scared me to death!" She said holding her chest and laughing.

"Haha I thought you would be ready but I forgot girls take forever to get ready." I said

"You're right" She said

She stood there in the towel and stared at me.

"Well?" She said

"Oh huh?" I said

"Matt you know I can't change in front of you."

"Says who?" I said smiling at her

"Says the platypus that lives in Kentucky." She said laughing at me

I put on a pouty face and slowly walked out her room. She stared at me every step out until I shut the door.

"Love ya!" She said

"Love you too stubborn!" I said through the door

I heard her laughing.

I sat down and leaned my back against her door and went on my phone. I scrolled through my Instagram feed and twitter.

Then I got a text from Bart.

"Hey Matt We're having a Magcon next month in Orlando Florida. Get ready and get packing!"

I love going to magcon. It makes me so happy to see all my fans and how happy they are to see us. But I'll have to leave Adria. I can't leave her. I love her. I wonder if she could come along with me. Besides, everyone else gets to bring their girlfriend so I'll bring mine!

Adria opened the door making my head fall into her room.

"Oops" She said laughing at me laying on the floor.

She helped me up.

"Guess what?!" I said

"What?!" She said

"I'm going to magcon! And I don't want to leave you here so you should come too!" I said

"Yay! We get to travel! but there's one thing that could mess this up for me. My mom. I don't know if she would let me go" she said

"Let's go find out?" I asked her

she nodded and followed me to the living room to where her mother was.

"Hey mom..." she said

"Yes Adria?" She said looking up at her.

"Well Matt's going to this event called Magcon and like he's been wondering if I could come with him" Adria said

She thought for a brief moment.

"Well where is it?" She said

"Orlando Florida" I said cutting in

"Well Matt and Adria I'll have to think about it. I'll tell you by tommorow okay?"

We both nodded.

Adria's POV

She putting it into consideration at least! I'm not gonna rush her. I'll just wait until tommorow.

Matt and I left and he drove me to the mall. I didn't have too much money on me so I didn't want to spend it all.

"So we can just go here to get breakfast and chat at the food court?" I asked

"Sounds good." He said

He pulled into the parking lot and we both got out of the car and walked to the mall entrance.

***Food Court***

"I'm just getting the pancake special" I said

"I'll get the Egg omlet. And we'll both have orange juice" Matt said

I smiled because Matt knows my favorite breakfast drink is orange juice.

We talked after the woman went to get our food.

"So what do you usually do at magcon? I've always wanted to go but I never could back in Maryland. I heard its just an event where you meet fans." I asked

"Its more than that. You actually get yo meet the hundreds of girls who really adore you. The people who are part of the reason that you got to the top. We also just have fun and act silly on stage and play a lot of music. Its a really fun experience." he explained

"Wow. It must be nice being famous." I said

"It is. But its not always about the fame and money. I honestly just enjoy what I do." he said

I nodded and smiled at Matt. He's so amazing. So sweet and caring for other people. It feels good for me to be able to call him mine.

Our food arrived and Matt immediately started eating. Me, being a typical girl, took a picture of my food and then ate.

Matt laughed and shook his head at me.

"What? Its become my duty to take pictures of food I eat!" I said

He laughed at me more.

We finished eating and afterwards we just looked around the store for random things to buy. A lot of teen girls would come up to Matt asking for pictures and he would do it happily for them. He is so sweet to his fans.

Later on we went home and the rest of the day was pretty normal.
