My love life gets sorted out

          "Do we have to leave?" I was frustrated. We had a perfectly good house to hide out in and now we had to go fight Ultron and the magical glow stick of destiny again. Steve gave me a hug from behind and I leaned into him, slowly calming down. Clint ruffled my hair and addressed the room, including Director Fury who had decided to pop up out of nowhere. 

           "Ultron's being delayed by an unknown force. Tony and Bruce are going to scout that out along with Spark. Maybe she can go inside the network and see what's going on." 

          "By Spark," I asked quietly "do you mean..." 

          "Not both of you." he said quickly. "The risk of Ultron controlling both of you is too great. The rest of us will be confronting Ultron head on. Speedy Gonzales will take Cap to Dr. Cho. I will be manning the jet while Natasha attempts to stop Ultron from doing whatever it is he's trying. Bucky, Thalia and Wanda will be on the ground protecting citizens from any fallout. Any questions?" No one moved a muscle and Clint nodded grimly. "Pack your shit, wheels up in five."

            Clint's house was amazing. Also cluttered. Like call Hoarder's anonymous cluttered. I was squeezing my way through the hall when I heard my name being said from Steve's room. Quietly, I paused outside his door and listened to him talking to Bucky. 

           "I don't want to lose her."

           "You won't. Ultron's not going to be able to touch her with Wanda and I covering her." 

             "What if something goes wrong?" 

           "Then I suppose I'll have to rely on my kick ass fighting skills." Steve snapped his head up and looked at me with a guilty expression. Bucky glanced between the two of us and bolted out the door. Steve looked wistfully at the door, as if he were hoping to make a break for it. He watched me with bated breath as I sat down silently next to him. I feel like he was almost relieved when I leaned over and kissed him. Steve pulled me into his lap as I ran my fingers through his hair. 

             "You are never going to lose me." I whispered. 

           "Can you promise me?" he asked softly. 

            "How about an 80% guarantee?" He chuckled and gently brushed the hair out of my face. "I just want to stay here forever." I said, my voice muffled against him. Steve smiled and kissed my forehead. 

            "I love you." he said in almost in a whisper.  

            "I love you too."  Steve grinned and slowly pulled me back to kiss me again.
