The Return Of Aj Lee

Chapter 1: Payback

Paige had just pulled of her second title defense after defeating Aj Lee and ending her triumphant reign on April 7th's episode of Monday Night Raw, the night after WrestleMania XXX. Paige had finally proved to Alicia Fox that she is not a force to be reckoned with. Defeating her at Payback and defending her still very new reign as Divas' Champion. Paige rolled out of the ring and started up the ramp to exit the arena as the crowd cheered in approval of her dominance and suddenly a girl appeared on the titan-tron and that girl was no other than Aj Lee. Aj appeared to be very sane for the first time in a while. She began to speak in her usually under-minding tone.

Aj: Hello, Paige. I see that you have been doing what I did for 495 days and that's defend the Divas' Championship. But I want to let you know one thing, I am the reason that you have that title because The Best Diva in The World granted you the opportunity to have a title match against her... I am not going to lie Paige, you capitalized and seized the moment and captured my beautiful butterfly but your fairy-tale will end soon enough. I will do everything In my power to be Divas Champion again because that title is my life and I have worked for that until I finally captured it... June 16th 2013 the reign began. You may have ended it April 7th but the Black Widow will make sure you drop that title because you may not know this but when you are a real champion you make sure that you have a rematch clause because anything can happen and anything and everything is possible when I face you at Money In The Bank for my Divas Championship.

Aj sounded very confident in her ability to defeat Paige for the Divas' Title but Paige showed no sign of fear as she made her way backstage. After Paige had made her way to the Divas' locker room she was congratulated by Naomi and Cameron, The Bella Twins, and Emma. Paige appeared to be easygoing about the threats Aj had made about the Divas' Championship. As usual, Renee Young had made her way into the Divas' Locker Room to ask Paige's thoughts on what transpired.

Renee: Paige, we have just seen you defeat Alicia Fox after weeks of harrasment and pre-match attacks. What is your reaction to coming out on top in that amazing back-and-forth battle?

Paige: Well.. Renee I have always been a fighter and I was not going to be in the business of losing my title to someone who thinks beating up innocent people and losing after attacking someone is the way to earn a title shot. So I am very proud of myself for finally being able to shut Alicia up.

Renee: That is very nice to hear and I am so glad I was able to have witnessed that moment but, after the match Aj Lee made some comments about ending your title reign at Money In The Bank... what are your thoughts on that?

Paige: All I am going to say until me and Aj meet up face to face is ... bring your best ammunition Aj because I never quit. Unlike you, I am and will continue to be a fighting champion.

Following her comments on Aj Lee's threats Paige returned back to interacting with the other Divas and received their praise on her tremendous match. Renee looked back at the camera man to sign off.

Renee: Your Divas' Champion.. Paige.

Paige continued to be unbothered by Aj. She was hoping for the best but, she certainly knew one thing and that was... do not underestimate Aj Lee's antics because she will stop at nothing to capture the championship spotlight.

The following night on Monday Night RAW is when Aj's antics would begin. The Divas' locker room would not know what to expect from Aj. The only thing they knew is that she had targeted Paige and that she had no problem playing dirty. They knew that if she became Divas' Champion again then that would be another reason for her to disrespect them like the numerous times she had in the past. Not only were the Divas worried about the future of the Divas' division but they were also worried about how Aj would get into the mind of Paige like she had done to Kaitlyn to capture her title.
