Chapter one
Amber intro
Hi I'm Amber and I just moved in a small town named Monson, MA. I live with my mom my step dad and my lil sister named Mya it's the middle of summer and I have no friends and I feel like I'm not apart of this world sometimes. I don't know if that made sense, but to it does. I had a week left of summer til the hell hole is back (school) I'm going into 10th grade and I'm nervous that no one will like me and I will just be the girl who sits in the back of the class.
My dad lives in New York and I don't see him a lot which is a good thing because I hate him. I have other problems to that I don't want to talk about right now. My step dad and I don't talk a lot because he is usually drunk or doing other things. The only person in my life I can trust and that's my mom she is my best friend ( I know that sounds lame, but it's true) she is the reason I haven't killed myself. I don't want to tell anyone about my life because it sucks and I can't.
ONE WEEK LATER
Amber P.O.V
I woke up and it was the first day of school great I put on a long sleeve shirt and some black jeans with my black vans. I didn't want to go, but I had to. I went downstairs and saw I was the only one up so I had some lucky charms, watched Drake and Josh until 6:59, then I went outside waiting til the bus came. I got on the bus and the whole bus went silent. I was walking until I found an empty seat I put my music and "she looked so perfect" came on by 5 seconds to summer. We got to school and it was smaller than my old high school, but whatever. I got off the bus and someone came running behind and knock my back pack off my shoulder, great I will be late now. I walked to the office so I know where to go. A boy walk in the office and I heard the teacher behind him say " you haven't even been in school for 5 minutes and you already have a detention for talking back to a teacher. Jack you have to stop this." then the the boy who's named Jack. " ok can I go to class don't want to be late for the first day of school" he said it with sarcasm. "stay here the teacher" the teacher said with anger. He giggled and
sat down behind me. Finally someone came over and said "what can I do for you sweetheart" "o it's my first day in this school and I font know where I'm supposed to be" I said very shyly. I saw the teacher that was with Jack and she said "come back at lunch and serve a lunch detention"
he looked at her and smiled "I'm so happy I get to spend my first school day with u Mrs. lord" I looked at him and he smiled at me and then winked. I looked away fast and then the lady came back to help me with my schedule. "you have all the same classes as Jack he will help u threw the day. if you need help with anything else just come back and ask for Mrs. April ok sweetheart have a great day".
