Michiyo's POV

...

'Where... the heck am I?'

Flashback~

"I think I can manage it by myself."

"Are you sure?" Tomoe questioned skeptically.

"Look, I'll be fine. You worry too much." She assured him.

3rd Person's POV

The lilac haired girl sweatdropped at the memory. 'Yep. I'm screwed.' She let out an exasperated sigh.

She's been going around these hallways for ages since she finished her classes hours ago. Michiyo finished her tasks as quickly as possible for she wanted to arrive at her dorm ahead of schedule for a well deserved rest. She should be there by now if only she haven't forgotten such an important thing as to bring her phone!

'Oh, dear. Moe-kyun would be furious. Hopefully he'll notice that I left it on the side pocket of my suitcase. Now, what to do? I could borrow Ma-kyun's phone but... I don't know where he is right now.'

Apparently, she and Sōma have different class schedules for the day. It would be rude to bother him now in between classes.

'I know! Maybe I could borrow the school's landline to phone Polar Star Dormitory.' She decided.

She was so lost in her thoughts that she tuned out her surroundings. As she took a sharp turn, she felt herself colliding into something sturdy yet soft. Her eyes automatically closed from the impact. The lilac haired girl felt arms wrapped around her petite waist and pulled her close to the perpetuator's chest, preventing her fall.

"Still as absentminded as ever, I see." A husky voice whispered near her ear.

She slowly opened her eyes and looked up to found herself staring straight into familiar peridot-green orbs.

"Kira...-kyun?" She muttered softly.

The said boy smiled upon hearing the nickname.

"Long time no see, Michi."

The two are currently walking side by side as they make their way out of the school building. The taller dark skinned boy took a glance at the lilac haired girl before simply taking her hand and lacing it with his. Michiyo paid no mind to it since they're childhood friends after all. And these things are totally normal on her basis (plus she's used to it).

"How's being Professor Jun's assistant working out for you?" Michiyo spoke for a while.

"I'm doing fine, I guess. Although, I'm still wondering when will that chibi 'professor' realize that I'm basically doing almost everything that was supposed to be HER job." He replied nonchalantly.

Michiyo couldn't help but laugh at that. "Well it's nice to know that some things doesn't change even all these years." The girl gave him a sideways glance. "And I see that you still have those cinnamon sticks Professor Jun gave you." She noted, given by the scent he gave off and the cinnamon sticks poking out from his breast pocket.
