"Daddy!" I screech, running towards my father, who dropped his briefcase,and dropped to one knee to give me a hug. "Hello, princess," he says, making me giggle because of the nickname. My mom laughs softly as she comes up the path towards us. Kissing my dad on the cheek, she scooped me up in her arms and smiled at him "What would you like for dinner, sweetie?" She asked me. I grin. "Can we go out to eat, mommy?" I ask, excitement coloring my voice. She giggles and nods her head yes. We head back inside to get dressed. I was wearing a rainbow dress, and a hair bow. Mommy was wearing a blue dress, and daddy was wearing the same suit from earlier. Mommy walked into the room across from mine and told my seven year old brother to wake up. He came out a few minutes later in a white t shirt and jeans. We piled into the car and started singing at the top of our lungs.
It happened really fast. My dad turned and smiled at my mom, and the smile was still on his face when a large shard of glass pierced his brain, killing him instantly.
