You've been looking out for this moment since last week. But it's finally time. Declan McKenna. The concert. Holy shit. You walked over to your closet. "...the fuck should I wear..." you mumbled. You had been living in Amsterdam for a few months now. You got a notification while you were moving. "Declan McKenna Live in Melkweg" it said. You didn't have to think twice before booking the tickets as quick as you could. The floor filled itself up with clothes.  Finally, you decided on a pair of skinny jeans and the big, pink, oversized Declan t-shirt. "I'm so excited!" you almost screamed it, while running over to your checkered slip-on Vans. 

It was only a few minute walk, but it seemed like ages.  You were meeting your friends there since you guys all lived so close to the venue. Walking up, you saw your friend Millie. "Millie!" you yelled. Millie turned around and yelled "Y/N" back. That was you guys' way of saying hello. "Fuck it's busy" you said, looking at the big line before the entrance. "We better get in line" Millie said. "We can find a place, the rest can meet us later". 

5 minutes before the concert
"THE SUPPORT ROCKED" Millie screamed in your ear. "I'm not deaf you know!" you said back. Your other friends had joined you guys. One way or another, you guys figured out a way to stand in front. "Omg we're so close!" you said. Suddenly, music starts playing. One by one, the band walked up the stage. Will, Isabel, Nathan and then Gabi. They started playing what you guessed was the intro song. Declan came up the stage wearing a green coat. Fabulous, as always. He raised his arms up into the sky. The crowd started screaming. His eyes glanced around the venue. Then, the first notes of TKDWCH started playing. The crowd started yelling even harder. You screamed too. 

You've made eye contact with Declan a few times, but you didn't think anything of it. You thought it was normal, especially since you were standing in front. He walked off-stage for a little while. The crowd kept on singing, waiting for the encore. He came back up, started talking a little bit. He ended his last sentence with "...I suppose you have to listen to your friends...". "Fuck yeah!" you said to Millie, but Declan heard it. He giggled. 

This was the best thing you've ever heard. Since Listen To Your Friends had come out you had been listening to it non-stop. As he said "...trust in me..." the second-last sentence of the song, he jumped off the stage, right before you. You were shocked. He looked you in the eyes and smiled. Then, he grabbed you by the waist, pressing his lips against yours. The people around you were dead-silent for a second. Then, the venue filled with the sounds of mumbling. You kissed him back, placing your hand on his cheek. He pulled back for a second. "Come on!" he said, pulling you up the stage with him. Then, you two disappeared behind the scenes.
