Broken

I see her standing there,
Frozen like a statue of stone,
I see her standing there,
So silent,
So alone.

Her eyes are deep like water,
An ocean of salty tears,
Her eyes are pained and haunted,
A barn so full of fears.

She doesn't move even slightly,
Although I know she can,
She doesn't move the slightest,
To afraid to make a stand.

Her lips are sealed so completely,
So no one can see her pain,
Her lips are sealed so tightly,
So no one can see who's came.

Her heart is deeply hurting,
You'll never imagine what she's seen,
Her heart is deeply yearning,
For that girl she could never be.

Her emotions are tousled and tangled,
Like a bowl of alphabet soup,
Her thoughts are mixed and mangled,
Flowing in a constant loop.

The world is spinning like a top,
And nothing's making sense,
Hurt spirals around her,
The air is tight and tense.

You will never see her pain,
As it courses through her blood,
You will never feel her hurt,
Her pure water turned to mud.

An earthquake falls across her skin,
A tornado whirls her heart,
A natural disaster wracks within her,
And never will it part.

She collapses to the ground,
Her insides turn to dust,
She wants to cry, to scream,
But silently she falls instead,
Agony swirling in her head,
Everything around her dead-
Broken.

~~~
I see myself stand there,
Frozen like a statue of stone,
I watch myself standing there,
So silent,
So alone.
