•Third person POV•
Axel hasn't moved out of his bed since he got back from Chance's house. He physically couldn't bring himself to move. His head hurts from the war between his brain and his heart, his soul and his mind, his logical thinking and his wants. His heart wanted to forgive Chance, but his brain didn't. His brain wanted him to be mad at Chance.
He spent most of his time on his bed texting Dylan. They are very close now.
Are they even closer than Chance and he were?
The thought crosses through Axel's mind frequently, causing Axel to frown upon himself.
'It was just a fight. Friends fight.' He thought to himself. He sighs, remembering what he had told Chance before he left his house.
"I want nothing to do with you Chance!!"
The words resonate through his head, guilt drenching him like a wave drenching the sand on a beach. His stomach churns at the thought of how upset Chance might be, even though Axel is ignoring him.
Axel's phone buzzes. He grabs it and sees that it's a text from Dylan.
Dylan: So I thought that since you were feeling a bit down.. we could do something fun. You said you like playing Mario kart, you wanna come over and play it with me?
Axel: I dunno.. I don't really feel like going outside. Maybe you can come over to my house..?
Dylan: Sure! What's your address?
Axel: *insert address here*
Dylan: I'll be over in a bit :)
A smile tugs on Axel's lips when he reads the text he got from Dylan. He likes how close they've become over the last couple of days. He finally sits up on his bed, getting a bit lightheaded from sitting up.
He stands up and looks at himself in a mirror. "God, I look like shit.." he mumbles to himself.
Ten minutes later Dylan stands at Axel's door. He knocks and Axel walks over to the door and opens it.
"Hey, Axel— woah, you look.." Dylan begins before being cut off by Axel. "Like shit? I know."
"Come on in." Axel says. He steps out of the way to let Dylan in. Dylan walks inside and Axel shuts the front door.
