The Little Sister | A One Punch Man Fanfiction

Chapter 3

               "So I've been wondering... how are you STILL broke exactly?" I asked my brother out of sheer curiousity. We were currently in the living room, Saitama was watching TV, Genos was writing something, and I'm just reading a fantasy novel. It's been almost a year since we all started living together.  "I mean, you're a B class hero like me, a popular one too I guess. Don't you get donations from your fans or something?"

               "Oh right." Saitama spoke. "Well, the people think that I'm cheating-"

               "What?!" I asked in disbelief as I slammed my book on the coffee table. "It was YOU who saved them from that meteor! It was YOU who saved them from those aliens! And yet they treat you like crap?!"

               "Suzuno, calm down-"

               "I agree with you, Suzuno." Genos joined in, earning a "hah?" from Saitama.

               "The way they treat sensei is unacceptable." He spoke. "But it is the path sensei chose."

               "It's just unfair." I muttered. "No, I will not allow them to talk trash about you!" I got up from my seat on the couch and approached the bald man.

               "Suit up, we're going to go clear your name." I ordered before I entered my room. I quickly got ready, and once I was done, I exited my room and went back down to the living room.

               Genos was still there, writing on his notebook. Upon noticing my presense, he looked up to me and spoke, "May I come with?"

               "You're an S class, right?" I asked him, and he only nodded in response. "It might be best not to. I don't mean to offend or anything, but you would most likely take credit if something does come up."

               "Understandable." And with that, he continued to write whatever it is he's writing.

               Soon, Saitama finally came down in his hero attire.

               "Took you long enough." I said with a smirk. I quickly grabbed his hand and pulled him outside as I yell, "Look after the house for us, okay Genos?"

               "So.. what's your plan?" My brother asked as we walked down the streets of City Y. City Z was empty so we decided to head to the next one.

               "Do hero stuff." I shrugged as we walked.

               "Seriously?" He asked in disbelief.

               "Just trust me." I sighed.

               As if right on cue, my phone rang. I stopped walking and answered it, Saitama stopped aswell.

               "Suzuno here." I spoke as I brought the phone to my face, after I pressed the green answer button.

               "Suzuno-san," A familiar voice spoke from the other end. "Where are you right now?" It was that one bearded guy at the Hero Association.

               "City Y." I answered. "Is there an emergency?"

               "Perfect," He spoke. "There's an attack by these werewolf-like monsters, they said they plan on taking over the world and such."

               "And you want me to take care of it?"

               "Yes, and you seem to be the only available hero within the area right now." He answered. "It's disaster level is Demon."
