Abused (august alsina )

fresh start .

       "Bye Mom, love you too!', I yelled as she left out the door at 6:00 a.m. leaving me home with my stupid ass stepdaddy, he always telling me what to do when mom out of town , it really make me sick, he don't even pay the bills here.

             I went upstairs to start my shower , I went into my room and put my music up to a volume that's not going to wake John up. I looked in my dressers for some warm clothes because it's starting to get cold outside , i got me a sweater and some high-waist jeans with some nike ankle socks and some uggs , i went to my bathroom and folded my clothes neatly on the toilet . I jumped in the shower for about 15 minutes and got out, dried my hair and put it in a bun, i lotioned myself down and walked in my my room with a towel wrapped around me and put on my clothes , for some reason i dont like putting on my clothes while I'm still in the bathroom, but anyways. I went back into the bathroom and did my hair I flat-ironed it and curled the bottom ends. Then, I put on a little bit of mascara and some lip gloss to top that look off, today was my first day at N.O High School and I wanted it to be over quickly. 

    I walked out of my room and grabbed my wallet, and purse off of the kitchen table. I was about to grab my keys until John saw me , a chill went down my spine, and then he yelled my name and said .

 "Lani get in here now !" My heart dropped, and i slowly walked into the living room and looked at him and said "What"! He got up and said" i told you yesterday i needed to use yo car so give me the keys NOWWWWWWW!" I handed him the keys as I started walking away.

  When i started walking down the street to school this girl stopped me dead in my tracks and said "what's your name?" i said" Kaylani, Kaylani Lopez what's yours?" "Andrea, Andrea Culton", i looked down then i spoke up,  " Do you go to N.O High School too ?" she said " yeah i do , but i never seen you around here anywhere, did you just move down here?" " yeah i did my momma moves alot, so i really dont have close friends." 

            In the next few minutes, we arrived to N.O.H and it was really big, I was walking to my assigned locker that was on my schedule and some girls was walking down the hallway and stopped by my locker and opened i guess what was her locker and she was putting her makeup on , and my personal opinion was that she already had on a ton . I walked off and some tall figured knocked me down right on my butt and my books, i looked up and he said "ma bad" and i looked up and said " yea yo bad". I got up and dusted my clothes off and walked to my first class and that was Mrs. Jonesburg, i walked to her class and she said ," Ms.Lopez right" " yes  ma'am thats me , Mrs. Jonesburg right ?" " yeah thats me " she said and started laughing , but i just smirked cause i didn't find nothing funny . " well kaylani it looks like you're 15 minutes early, so you get to go in to the gym with the rest of the students and you can sit on the 11th grade side if you like ." " yes ma'am and thank you Mrs. Jonesburg" "you're welcome honey, anything for the new students."  

      It was 7:30, so I went into the gym, but when i walked in i saw like everybody in there, so i kinda got scared and turned around, but when i turned around Mrs. Jonesburg was right behind me, so i had no choice but to go in there.

     When i walked in there I went to the 11th grade side and Andrea was telling me to come over there with her . I slowly walked to her side and sat down. I started looking around and I saw this gymnastics parts set , with some girl over there . I told Andrea that i will be right back, I walked over by the gymnastics sets, and started hitting backflips and stuff, ya girl was tired so i sat down on the mat , next thing you know everybody started clapping , I looked at them and my face turned red asf, then I started laughing at them, then the bell rung...........
