Marie Cousins P.O.V
The rest of the day was pretty okay. I couldn't stop thinking about Beverley though. What happened to her? I grabbed all my things, and Eddie walked me home.

"How was your day?" Eddie asked.

"Fine." I replied.

"Something wrong?" He asked.

"Nope." I replied back.

"Alight then."

The rest of our walk was silent. Do I tell him about Beverley?  We finally reach our houses, and go our separate ways.

I sat down on the couch and turned on the T.V. The news was on, and it was talking about the murders happening in the town this week. One of them being George Denbrough. I changed the channel and some horse movie was on. It was interrupted by the ringing telephone.

"Hello?" I said into the phone.

"Marie. It's B-Bill

"Oh, hey."

"Listen. My brother G-George

"He's missing. I know."

"How?"

"George was on the news."

"O-okay."

"I'm so sorry Bill."

"H-hey you sh-should g-go t-talk to E-E-Eddie. H-h-es worried a-about y-you."

"Why?"

"Don't know."

"Do you know who Beverly Marsh is?"

"Y-yeah w-why?"

"Well she's in my English class. She looked really beaten up."

"Oh sh-shit

"Yeah."

"Well g-go s-see E-Eddie, p-promise m-me?"

"Yeah. Bye Bill."

"B-bye M-Marie.

I hung the phone up, and went outside. I went next door to Eddie's house and knocked on the door. Eddie answered.

"Hey. Can I talk to you outside for a minute?" I asked him.

"Yeah sure." He replied.

Eddie stepped outside, closing the door behind him.

"Bill said you were worried about me." I said.

"You were just acting a little bit weird."

"It's just this girl in my English class. She looked really beaten up and sad. Wish I knew what was going on in her head."

"Who's this girl?"

"Beverley Marsh."

Eddie signed a little bit, and patted my shoulder.

"How's Bill doing anyways? With his brother and everything."

"He couldn't really talk about it that much."

"Poor guy."

"Hey guys!" A voice said. I turned around, and saw it was Richie. I hadn't known him long enough to be able to recognize his voice yet. However somehow I always knew the soft sound of Eddie's voice.

"How goes it Richie?" I ask.

"Fine how about you, sister?"

"Fine I guess. Did you hear about Bill's brother?" I said, my voice going a little bit quieter.

"That's what I came here to talk to you about."
