And then came the new kid..

Chapter 7

At home, I felt like I was invincible. Zach sure does know how to cheer people up. Maybe we could be friends, but to me I still feel like he is bad, in a way.  

"Hey Jay, where were you today," asks Maria.

I hate when she tries to act like a motherly figure. She is 21 years old she should be having the time of her life right now.

"I went for a walk.. Got bored.." I say. "OH, call me down when it is time for dinner."

Once i am upstairs I check my Instagram. It is like Facebook, but it is better. I saw Zach followed me, but I will not follow him back just yet just because I do not trust him yet. Later on everyone's home,but Ryan, P.J, Darla and surprisingly Nick. I am glad Nick and Darla are finally getting comfortable again. Thinking of that makes a smile on my face.

At dinner time, the doorbell rings. Maria gets it because she is a really good pretend housewife. Maria yells it was for me, so I get up to see who it is.

Allen and Libby was at the door. Looking as sad as ever! I don't know why, I mean they have been making out for the past hours. Maria looks confused, then she realizes we are all in a fight.

"Well I will let you guys talk outside." she says.

On her way back to the kitchen, She whispers, "go with your gut kid." I don't know why she is saying that I mean, I am only 4 years younger than her.

"Lets talk outside, Libby and I will explain everything." says Allen holding Libby's hand.

"So it all started in our freshman year of high school." Libby says so quietly. That confused me, because they just kissed today and Allen had a thing with a girl Freshman year. I never met her though, so this is all getting put in their place. It was like a puzzle. So now I know they have been hooking up for a while now. Sneaking behind my back. They are such great friends to me. I wouldn't have freaked out as much, if they would've told me from the start! Stay calm Jay, don't pop a nerve.

"As you know we went to that party while you were gone away in Florida over the summer, people started playing spin the bottle. I joined because I didn't want to be known as the loser who did not play. Allen joined because he wanted me to be careful. Allen does that for the both of us, you should know that. Of course with my luck, the bottle landed on Allen. We had to kiss right then and there. My reputation would be terrible if I didn't! So I kissed him. It was just a peck. Anyways-

Allen interrupted her, "I liked it a lot, so we kinda made out and we've been doing it every since. We wanted to tell you, but we also knew you were going to be furious like you are now."

"I hate my best friend being mad at me," Libby shouts, "Can you please forgive us!"

I had a blank look on my face. I thought about saying no I wont forgive you, but that is selfish of me. Zach and Ryan's words came to my mind. All that love is love crap. I can not stop them from falling in love with each-other.

I finally say, "You are forgiven, if you guys really love each-other that is fine with me, but I am mad for you not telling me. We were supposed to be best friends. I wouldn't have been mad if you told me from the beginning. You both lied though, so I will see you when I can.  It's just that the fact you have been sneaking around not telling me! We are all supposed to be best friends and best friends do not keep secrets."

Their faces was filled with sadness, joy and now back to sadness. I walked back inside after that. I couldn't bare to watch their faces. Why would I want to be the third wheel while they hang out with me? I think I did a great thing for everyone. It would be too different around us if I didn't.
