An End

He glances over at Jacob. "Are you worried?" He asks. "How could I not be? The comms have been lighting up with calls for back-up for hours. It's the strongest Fallen House The City has encountered so far" Jacob replies. "Well there's no turning back now." Someone says beside them. It's Marzia. She's the strongest female soldier the city has ever had. The PA screeches through the hull of the cargo ship. "LANDING AT COSMODROME IN T-MINUS: 4 MINUTES" They all unstrap their safety belts and check their rifles. It's a silent ride for the next 4 minutes. The back of the ship opens up revealing the insane mess of a war field that you are joining. You all jump out. You see the Fallen House. It's a new force. A new kind of enemy. What they were given was a gift, but that gift came with a price. The Traveler with all its light, was soon followed with immense darkness. Screams all around him. Bullets of bright white energy skim the car he has taking cover in. This Fallen House is a relentless force. He hears the calls of war from both the allies and enemies. He periodically peeks over to get in a shot or two, hoping to kill one of the unknown Fallen houses. "KINGS!" Jacob yells to him. "WHAT?!" He yells back.
"THATS WHAT IM CALLING THEM! THE HOUSE OF KINGS!" He laughs to himself. He has let his guard down too long and must return to battle. A bullet rips through his stomach suddenly as he peeks over. He looks down at the hole in his torso. The wound is already cauterized by the energy bullet's heat. He knows this is the end.
"NO, GENO!" Jacob screams. Despite the fact he already has succumb to his overwhelming urge to vomit, he tries not to panic. Jacob can't cross to his car without also being shot despite his efforts. After a few minutes with no help from his allies, he realizes he is going to die. He must say goodbye to life. To happiness. To any feeling. He breathes his last breath, tears streaming down his face. He's not ready for oblivion. He's not ready to leave. He calls for Jacob one last time. "I LOVE YOU" He shakily screams his last words.
