Chapter 3

Mia's POV

(Sleep in his room?!?! Enjoy my stay?!? I don't want to be here...I want to be with my crew. Ugh!! He is going to be the death of me.)

"Look here I don't know who ya think ya are but I'm not sleeping in yer room unless ya sleeping on the floor."

He turned around and looked at me with a smirk. "Oh love I'm not sleeping on the floor it's my room after all. Ya can sleep with the rest of the crew but I think ya wouldn't like that. They might try to do something to ya."
"I can protect my self."
"There's to many for ya to fight off"
"Ugh fine but I'm sleeping on the floor"
"Suit ya self love"

(Men....I hate them. I need to be back at my ship. I hope my girls are fine)

"Well since I'm sleeping on the floor I need a sleepingbag pillows and covers."
"Alright we going to King-Coves anyway we can get ya stuff there"
"Ok"
That's all I could say. He walked to a room that is under the quarter deck, which I hope is his that way I will know for tonight. I walked around the ship trying to get to know it better since I'm going to be here a while. I was on the main deck. To my left side was a stair case of about 10 steps that leads up to the quarter deck. I see one of his crew mates by the helm of the ship. From where I am I think he is looking at a map. At the moment I was turning around I see Jackson or Jack-ass as Leo calls him.

"So yer the captain's girl huh?
"Seems like it" I cross my arms across my chest.(Leo is just trying to protect me but he could have done it a different way)
"Ya know the Captain had many girls before ya"
"Ya before me.... now it's me. Deal with it" I said it in a matter of fact voice. (I know it shouldn't bother me that he said that but it did. I need to talk to Leo about this.)
"Yea I see that...well we gonna be seeing alot of each other so I see ya around" He walked with a smirk up to the quarter deck.
(Like I said men...I hate them )

I walked to the captains room but stop in front of the door. (Should I knock or just walk in? I'll just know there's no telling what he is doing in there) I knock 3 times and wait.
"This better something important" He said as he opened the door. "Oh sorry I didn't know it was ya"
"It's fine. Can I come in? I need to talk to ya."
"Ya come in."
As I walk in I see it's kinda dark in here and has a weird smell a mixture of two unknown smells. But it's doesn't smell bad but good. Once you walk through the door ya see a king size bed, a desk on the left side of the room, and on the right side is a bookshelf with 3 shelves. Under the bookshelf is a cot that could fit 3 people.(I didn't think he was the type to read but I guess he is) The bookshelf cought my attention the most so I made my way there. I ran my hand over the books trying to see what book they were. There were different types of books. Books like astronomy books, world maps, one or two fairytales and how to find treasure for dummies. (How to find treasure for dummies? And he calls me a rookie..ha. if he wasn't a rookie he wouldn't need that.)

"Really?"
"What?"
"How to find treasure for dummies?"
"Oh...it was a gift from the crew when they made me captain."
"Uh huh"
I just kept looking around his room. He looked kinda nervous. (He looks cute like that) I blush when I realize what I thought of and turn away from him.

"What ya wanted to talk about?"
"Oh um...something Jack-ass... I mean Jackson told me."
He laughs a little when I said that.
"What that seadog say?"
"He had ask me if I was yer new girl I said yea and then he said ya had many girls before me."
"Well I mean look at me. Alot of girls want me." He said it like he was most handsome guy. I just rolled my eyes

"Let me just tell ya this, I'm not just some girl ya can use. I'm a Captain. I should get respect from ya and ya crewmates."
"Ok.....come with me."
"Where we going?"
"Just follow me."
We walk out the room and go to the middle of the main deck.

"Listen up fellas. I need ya all to come around." ( What is he doing?)
All his crew members came around us. I just stood there speechless and cross my arms across my chest.
"Alright leds let me tell ya something. This here is Luna but only I can call her Mia. She needs to be respected like the Captain she is on her ship. Y'all know how I am when I'm mad so please don't try me. So don't disrespect her or ya will deal with me. Now get back to work seadogs."

My mouth was wide open at what he had done. No one has really ever done that for me. I'll always have to earn someones respect. No one has respect for a girl like me especially not a pirate .People always think I'm a nobody.

"Leo?"
"Huh?"
"Why did ya do that?"
"Ya said ya wanted respect well now ya have it."
"Thanks"
"Welcome......we won't reach Kings Cove till tomorrow morning."
"Then let me borrow a cover I'll sleep on the cot."
"No take the bed and I'll take the cot."
'My room. My bed.' Remember?"
He just smiles at me and walks away.
(I wonder what he be thinking...)
For the rest of the day I talk to some crewmates. Some are new others been for a while. I mean years. Most told me how Leo is a great captain. (I wonder how my crewmates describe me)

Night time comes around. I haven't seen Leo since the announcement he made. I walk to the room. I was tired from today. To much "excitement today". As I walk in I in the room I see him sitting down at he desk. He was looking at some papers but once he saw me he put them away.
"What are those ?"
"Papers" He said it with a straight face.
"And that's a wall. Now that we stated the obvious tell me what's on the papers."
"Nun ya need to worry bout love"
"Uh Huh. Well I want sleep so can I?"
"Yea take the bed." He moves to the bed and takes a cover and put it on the cot. I make my way to the bed and sit at the side to take my shoes off. I put em beside the bed for tomorrow morning. I lay down and cover my self ready to sleep. Leo blows the candle off and the room gets dark.
"Goodnight Leo"
"Goodnight Mia"
(I need a way out of here)
