A/N: You and Klaus have been dating for a while and get worried about him and all the battles he has to fight. (You're a human btw) Sorry if it's REALLY short but it's my first one!
"Nik I just don't understand why I can't help!" You ask with worry on your face.
"Because it's not safe for you. Do you understand what I would do if I lost you?" He questioned looking directly into your eyes. "I would rip out anyone's throat who tried to hurt you, Y/N. I don't care if it would take 10 years or 100 years to hunt them down." He kissed me passionately.
"Sorry to interrupt but Nik I need you to heal poor Josh. A wolf bit him." Rebekah said while leaning on the door frame.
"Off to work." Klaus winked at me and left the room. Rebekah takes a seat next to me on Klaus' and my bed.
"So you guys are doing well" she smirked.
"Yeah well, I can't imagine a life without him."
"Yes of course, Niklaus Mikaelson, the evil, murderous, original hybrid. Are you sure we're talking about the same person?"
We laugh and Nik returns to our room.
"Well, goodnight!" Rebekah stands up and walks out of the room. I crawl under the covers, too tired to change into my pajamas. Klaus takes his short off and joins me.
"Remember, Love, no need to worry about me. You give me strength."
"I'm sorry, I just don't want you to get hurt and possibly never recover." I say holding back the tears.
"Y/N, I would never leave you. If they want to come after me, let them. They won't kill me if your still alive."
"I love you Niklaus" I say while putting my hand on the cheek.
"I love you more Y/N." Nik kisses me once more and we fall asleep in each other's arms.
