Dahee POV-

"—and STOP! Good job girls" The dance instructor had told us. My whole body felt numb after that session, and I laid on the ground, sweating from exhaustion, knowing that i have to meet the CEO in a little bit. Every month he gives us an evaluation on how we've been doing, and what we're good at and at what we need to better on. The last couple months, he's had nothing but good stuff to say about me, so every month i go in with anticipation to see if he says anything different this time. I walk out the dance studio and walk down the halls to see the front of the managers door. I take a deep breath and compose myself, i had been thinking to myself

"Dahee you know how long and hard you've worked, others do too, if today is not the day that changes everything, then it's just more motivation to increase your skills."

With that, i opened the door to greet the manager.

"Park Dahee" he says sitting in his chair not even giving me eye contact. He's natural face is always the same stern look, and this is how he always greets people.

"Hello CEO Wa" I say and do a 90 degrees bow to show respect.

"Looking at your overview and reports lately" he says and proceeds to show me the screen on his computer. "You've been training for 3 years now, and it's about to be 4. You've had a wild increase over the last two months, and i appreciate you coming here to put effort into what you're trying to accomplish." He says and i just nod and thank him, but in reality i was so shocked. The CEO isn't the type of person to acknowledge anyone besides himself. "We over the past few weeks have been planning big things for a girlgroup to debut. There's groups like, Red Velvet, Twice, GFRIEND, Blackpink, etc. We want to join that league of icons and we need trainees that are balanced and capable of making efforts to show what a real talented girl group is. Whether it's rapping or singing the high parts of a member who's absent, covering up yours or another members wardrobe malfunction to show professionalism, etc." He says and i'm trying to comprehend what he's getting at.

"Sir, i'm confused to what your getting at. I ask this question with all your respect but, am i debuting?" I ask and regret asking, being too impatient is a habit i needed to work on. I knew his response wasn't gonna be the greatest response, because he hates being disrupted.

"No, your not debuting" he says and I had figured out his answer prior to him saying that. "That's because no one is debuting. What i was gonna say was that we haven't found an official member to be confirmed in the group, but we will be deciding and in a soon amount of time, but we haven't decided, but soon we will be figuring out who those members are." He says and my posture becomes slouched, as my muscles become less tense and i'm relieved. I immediately go back to normal and apologize for the behavior

"Sorry sir—"

"Stop apologizing for everything. The respect that you've given me shows your true character. You are a strong committed girl that has been working very hard for a while now, so you deserve atleast some rest. Now thank you for coming" He says and i smile and can't believe this is real right now. I'm about to have been training for almost 4 years and all of that hard work is coming into action now. With all of that, i even gained the respect and attention from CEO Wa.

"Thank you Sir. Thank you for your time" I say and quickly leave. This was all so surreal to me, but at the same time I had been afraid. I was afraid of what happened in the past, happening again.
