Cam's POV

I got up to bat thinking about how Danny was going to say that Maggie was hot. He can't say that... she's mine. Wait.. what? I didn't mean that. Or maybe I did. I don't know.. I pictured Danny with Maggie cuddling. She looked up at him, and kissed him. I built up with anger. Before I knew it, the pitch was coming at me. I swung with all the emotions I was feeling. The ball flew. I ran as fast as I could. I looked over, and Mags was smiling ear to ear. Then, all I hear was a high voice scream, "YAY CAMMY! THATS MY BOY!" I looked over again and saw Erica, my crush of 3 years. I never really talked to her, she's just drop dead gorgeous. I'm her boy now? Oh...

It was only when I got to home that I realized that I hit it over the fence, and that I got a grand slam. I was so happy! All my practice finally went to good use.

I turned to the bleachers, and saw Maggie with a frown on her face. I hated seeing her sad and upset. I'll talk to her after the game. I hope nothing is wrong

* Game is over *

Maggie's POV

When Erica said that Cam was hers, it really messed me up. Ever since then, I have been in a bad mood. I think Cam noticed because when he came over he looked worried.

We got in the car, and he just sat there. There was a good 5 minutes of dead silence. Finally, I looked over.

"Um.. Cameron.. why aren't we-"

"Tell me what's wrong." He said kind of harshly. He looked at me, and I could tell he was concerned.

"Um... What?" I asked even though I knew exactly what he meant.

"We aren't leaving this parking lot until you tell me why you are upset." he demanded.

"There's nothing wrong." I said looking away.

"Maggie, I know when something's wrong, and when you're upset. I know because when I look in those big blue eyes I see a girl who is feeling many things. Whether it's happiness, or when you're disappointment. You might have thought that I don't remember anything from when we were kids, but really I remember every single moment of it. That's how I know that something is wrong, so please just tell me." At that moment, I realized that Cam and I did pick up right where we left off. Now I know that I can tell him anything.

"Cameron.. why didn't you tell me you have a girlfriend?"

Cam's POV

"Cameron... why didn't you tell me you have a girlfriend?" she asked. I could see she was hurt, but that doesn't make sense.. I was incredibly confused with her question.

"What do you mean? I don't have a gi-" I started

"Cameron.. I was sitting right next to her."

I tried to think back to who Maggie was sitting next to. ERICA! She was sitting next to Erica... but that doesn't make sense either. We weren't dating. She has never talked to me before, besides the occasional "Do you have a pencil?"

"Erica? You think I'm dating Erica?"

She nodded.

"Maggie, I can assure you I am not dating her. I would never date her." I decided to leave out the fact that she was my 3 year crush.

She looked really embarrassed. "Can we please go back now?"

I pulled out, and drove. The rest of the car ride was completely silent.

Maggie's POV

Why did I ask him that? I should've known better than to ask him that. I'm mortified. I want to say something, but I figure it would just be another awkward conversation. After this, Cameron probably thinks I'm incredibly nosey.. He's probably thinking 'Why would she care who I'm dating or not dating?' At this point, I was in an even worse mood than I was before. We got to my house, and I got out. I walked to the door while watching Cameron sit in his car with his head down.

"Cameron?" He looked up.

"I'm really sorry.. I shouldn't have asked that."

"Mags, it's perfectly fine. I asked what was wrong, and you told me. There's no harm done." He said with a smile.

I smiled back. "Okay. Thanks for bringing me. I had a lot of fun."

"When ever you want to come with me, just ask. I'll bring you where ever you want to go."

He was staring at me, and I was staring at him. I smiled while looking down.

"Alright, see ya later!"

"Bye Beautiful! Text me!" With that he pulled out, and went back to his house. I opened the door, and smiled until I reached the living room. Then, everything turned serious.

A/N: Hey guys! sorry I didn't update as much today, I was busy practicing. Anyway, who liked the chapter?? I felt like a lot happened here. Alright, well I may or may not update tonight. I don't know, we'll see.
