Up, down. Up down.
I laid on Trent's chest and listened to the rhythm of his heartbeat as his chest rose and fell. It was the first night in a whole week that I got to lay my head on my husbands chest as he slept peacefully. I was so glad that football season was over and I could be with my husband all the time and not worry. I laid with him for a few more minutes before easing my way out of our bed as quietly as I could without waking him. I decided I would make him a big breakfast this morning before we went out today. Today we had planned to go to my check up appointment and then spend the day shopping for the babies. I couldn't wait to spend the whole day with Trent and do my favorite thing with him which was shopping.
I made my way into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and washed my face before making my way down to the kitchen to start breakfast. I made my way out of the master bathroom into the bedroom to see Trent still asleep. I went down the stairs quickly to the kitchen so I could start on breakfast. I began with eggs and then made French toast, bacon, sausage, and decided to make Trent an omelet. As I finished up with the omelet I heard Trent come into the kitchen.
"Mmmm.. Barefoot and pregnant is exactly the way I wanted you when I first seen you" Trent said coming up behind me wrapping his arms around my pregnant waist and kissing my neck. I giggled a little at his comment and then turned around to face him.
"Good morning baby" I said kissing his lips.
"Good morning to you beautiful, how do you feel this morning"
"I feel fabulous" I said before kissing him again.
"You look fabulous" he said as he moved his hands down my backside.
"Sit down so I can I get you your breakfast" I said grabbing his hand and leading him to the table.
"I see someone missed me" Trent said pulling me onto his lap as he took his seat.
"Of course I did" I said laying my head on his shoulder.
"You know I missed you too beautiful" he said placing a kiss on my forehead.
"How much" I said flirting with him.
"You know I can show you better than I can tell you right" Trent said rubbing my thigh. I just giggled as he continued.
"After you eat your breakfast" I said hopping off of his lap to fix his plate.
"So tell me how everything around here while I was gone" Trent said pouring orange juice for both of us.
"Everything was fine. I just missed you" I said placing his plate in front of him and then putting down my plate. We said grace quickly and then began to eat our food.
"So I know you already have our day planned out, so what are we doing" Trent said smiling at me.
"Well you know I have my appointment today so we're going to that and then we have to go buy stuff for the babies"
"Soooo.. basically shopping all day" Trent joked as he finished his food.
"You know you love shopping with me"
"You mean watching you shop because when "we" go shopping you're the one whose wanting everything"
"Oh I'm not that bad"
"So you say" he laughed going to put his plate in the sink.
"How are my babies" Trent said coming back rubbing my stomach.
"I think they've missed you too because they've been kicking like crazy recently" I told him.
"That's okay guys daddy's home" he said kissing my stomach and then picking me up bridal style carrying me up the stairs.
