«Derek POV»
"I had a dream that I felt was weird and I couldn't sleep" I said I wasn't lying because the dream did feel weird to have. He eventually took what I said and was okay with it because if he asked what it was about there would be no way I could lie out of that one.
He walks back upstairs but something is off..... like that feeling you get when someone is staring at you but..... there's no one here I look around the downstairs all of the rooms are intruder free I look out the Windows and I don't even see a silhouette "I'm just being paranoid......right?" I say to myself I shake the thought away and walk upstairs and when I reach the top of the stairs I hear a door shut down the hall "Derek, calm down it was probably just Stiles no one would be dumb enough to be in here get a grip" I say and walk to my room and in the corner of my eye I just barely notice a Silhouette that looks like it can barely fit in the hall way and fingers that reach down to it's knees...(AU: When I wrote that I was scared when I imagined it too) I close my door and act normal I climb into my bed and stay awake all night until I hear my family going down stairs.
"Derek are you okay you look like you saw a ghost" My sister Laura asked I respond in a whisper " I think I did" "What was that honey?" My mom looked at me with a confused face I answer everyone because I knew they wanted to know what I meant "I think it was just because I was tired but I could have sworn I saw a shadow of something in the hallway when I was going into my room it was taller that the hallway and it's fingers were so long" I said in a shake breath and I look at everyone and they look confused and a bit scared "I was just imagining things?" I say in more of a question than a statement "I'm I don't know honey but we need to be careful jus in case" and everyone agrees with my mom. I have enough problems to deal with I don't need more with the fricken Annabelle doll running around our damn house. I'm on edge all day and at night I keep my lamp on I know I'm a baby well you would have a light on after what I saw the other night I'd rather hang myself to a tree after I alerted Hunters that I as there than to see that thing again I with and try to sleep key word TRY this is going to be a horrible night.
