Chapter 1

________________________

The plane jolted, the pilot came running out telling us to stay calm, but I knew something was wrong. My stomah churned as the plane plumeted to the ground. I regret walking onto this plane, altogether.

|Flashback|

I walk onto the plane greeted by my brother my friend trailing behind me. We're on our way to Honolulu, Hawaii for the rest of summer break. I put my bag above my seat and sit down next to my brother, Grayson, and my friend, Paige. " I will be your captain for this flight we are about to take off." The pilot said over the intercome.

I leaned back in my chair waiting for the engines to start. The roar of the engines started and we were off the ground, my ears popped.

I must have fallen asleep, I was awoken by my brother shakening me. He had a worried look on his face and his skin was pale white. "Anna wake up we're crash landing!" He says

I jolt out of my seat franticly running around not knowing what to do.

|End of flashback|

Paige was running around trying to find something that would help us, she wasn't going to calm down. I hear a loud scraping noise and I am thrown to the ground. I look up just before the suitcase smashes my head. The world goes black.

I wake up still on the plane there's a loud throbbing in my head. I stand up and my legs shake. The plane is tilted to the side making it hard to walk. I look out the window to see the ocean and a small section of beach. I walk out of the plane, Paige and Grayson are all already out there looking around the crash, salvaging for supplies.

I break into a run trying to get to them. I run up to Grayson, he immediatly embraces me in his arms. Paige runs to me

"Thank God you are alive!" she
exclaims.

"I was worried about you too, Paige what happened?" I yelled.

"Well apparently one of the engines failed and broke the pilot did everything he could to get it working again he even sacrificed his life. We should be thankful," says Paige

"Well what are we supposed to do now?" questions Grayson.

"I suppose we should gather any supplies we savaged, gather wood, and hopefully find some food and fresh water," I respond.

"Sounds good to me," says Paige.

" Me too," says Grayson.

"Grayson you gather the firewood, Paige you savage any supplies you can find, and I will search for food and hopefully find some fresh water as well."

We were about to head to do our jobs until Grayson asks something.

"Anna, do you think we will ever get home?" He asks in a solum voice.

I try to be as encouraging as possible so I throw a great big smile on my face and say, " Grayson I promise I will get you home if that is the last thing I do."

His face lightens up and he heads to the forest to get fire wood.

Chapter 2 (Anna's POV)

I start my search along the beach coast. I have probably walked at least a mile, but my legs make it feel like a thousand.

I did end up finding a bush of berries that I am about 99% sure aren't poisonous. I am about to eat them, then I think there is that 1% that they are. I throw them on the ground in frustration knowing it won't help.

I start my way back to camp, disappointed about returning empty handed.

(Paige's POV)

I return to the wreckage from the flight and think to myself I am never getting on another plane when we get home, I mean if we get home....I shake the thought out of my brain and continue searching.

I found one of my suitcases I brought from home and I open it. Of course everything in it is soaked with sea water and covered in gross, slimy seaweed. There goes my new flip flops I say with a sigh.

I am about to go meet up with Grayson and Anna when the plane slides down on one side. I scream as the plane jerks into the ocean.

(Grayson's POV)

I could tell Anna was lying when she promised to get me home. I could hear the uncertainty in her voice, but I needed to stay strong like her....

I am guessing that it has rained recently here because every single good piece of wood is drenched with water! After walking for a little while I finally find a good dry patch of wood.

I got myself a pretty nice pile of wood when the thought hit me. HOW THE HECK AM I SUPPOSED TO GET ALL OF THIS WOOD BACK TO CAMP!?!?

I slump down against a tree annoyed. All of this wood yet no way to get it back!

I try to imagine I am in a survival book trapped on an island trying to survive. What would I do then? Probably die! I mumble to myself. This is useless I thought as I laid my head on the rough, tree bark.

I grab as much wood as I can and walk back to camp. By the time I get there my arms are sore and scratched from carrying it.

I drop the wood and I am frozen in shock as I watch the plane, that Paige was in, slide towards the ocean.
