My eyes fluttered open as I looked up into the sky. Nothing much has changed since I fell asleep, so I assume that I only slept for a few minutes or so.

I turned to Genos who was still asleep. I stared at him as I think about what I should do.

Ah fuck it, this lunch break has gone long enough.

I stood up and dusted the dirt off my clothes, before I stood infront of Genos.

I'm going to be honest, I can't help but wonder how he would react if I were to yell at him for "slacking off".

I forced my evil grin to turn into a frown as I put on an angry face.

"Oi, Genos." I growled dangerously as I crossed my arms above my chest.

Still asleep.

"Oi! Genos!" I yelled, this time waking him up.

He looked around, confused, until his eyes landed on me.

"Get up!  Break is over." I ordered.

He quickly got up and bowed, "My apologies, Suzuno! I didn't mean to fall asleep!"

"I will accept any punishment you throw at me!" He quickly added as he stayed in his bowing position.

A small laugh escaped my lips, but I quickly covered my mouth to shut myself up. It worked for a while, until I let out my laughter, earning a confused look from the cyborg.

"I'm joking, I'm joking!" I managed to say in between laughs. "It's alright Genos, you're not in trouble."

He stood up straight and sighed in relief.

"You should've seen your face! You looked so scared, it was priceless!" I managed to say as my laughter slowly died down, earning a smile from the cyborg. "Am I really that frightening?" I asked, jokingly.

"At that time, yes, yes you were." He answered honestly, his smile not fading.

"Good to know!" I spoke, returning the smile. "Anyways, back to training!"

"Right!"

"We should be getting back." I spoke as I look into the night sky. "It's starting to get a bit chilly too." I said as I zip up my tailcoat-like jacket.

I really should make a thick double layer version of this, especially for winter. This one isn't really good at keeping you warm at such a season like winter.

If you're wondering how I survived last winter, I just put on a long sleeved black shirt and some pants instead of my usual tank top and shorts, but even with that it was still cold, but I couldn't really sew up a new one at that time since I was really busy, and I would always forget.

"Of course." Genos spoke in agreement. I took my backpack, which I left to lean on the same tree we sat under earlier, and slung it on my shoulder.

We then began walking back home. As we walked, I noticed that there was some heat radiating from Genos' metal body. Upon noticing this, I tried to walk closer to him, but not close enough for him to notice.

I relaxed as I warmed up, if he were to notice, I hope he doesn't mind.

I tensed as I felt his hand hold mine. I turned my gaze to him to ask, but before I could, he answered, as if he read my mind.

"It's getting dark, stay close." He answered. "I don't want anything bad to happen to you."

"T-Thanks." Damn it! Why must I stutter?! "Um... are you sure you don't mind? I mean, the gloves are kind of sharp and all."
