Upon arrival, I have come to see that my big brother was still sleeping. I should wake him up later.

"Anyways, I can't help but wonder." I spoke up. "What's with the gifts, compliments, and all that?" I curiously asked.

"Well I..." He trailed off as he helped me move the stuff we bought to my room. "Can't I just show how much I appreciate that you're my friend?"

"Hm, I guess not." I said as I placed the stuff down next to my bed. I then took off the cat ears and examined it.

"You know what..." I turned around to the confused cyborg and flashed him a smile. "I might actually wear this along with my hero outfit."

               He chuckled, "Seriously?"

"Hell yeah." I said, full with determination. "It's to complete the look, I guess?"

He nodded, his smile not fading, "I see."

I looked over at the clock in my room, only to see that it's half an hour until dinner time.

"I really should go and start making dinner." I commented, as I placed the cat ears on my desk.

"Do you need help?" He asked as we walked down the stairs.

"Nah, you've already done so much for me, just relax." I spoke as I flash him a smile, before I went into the kitchen to make dinner.

"So, Genos." I spoke as I placed my backpack under a tree, before we made our way to the middle of the clearing.

"It's been two months since I've started teaching you Baji Quan." I stated. "And I've decided that it's time to see just how much you have improved." He nodded as I took off my claw gloves and threw them to the ground, right by my bag's side.

"I won't use my weapons for this spar, and you won't be using your flames either for this one." I informed. "Just plain ol' Baji Quan."

               "Understood?"
               "Yes."

"Good." And so we went into our fighting position and got ready.

After counting three breaths, the battle started and he was the first to attack.

As we fought, I would only dodge or block his attacks, which seems to be making him angry. That is until I got bored, and that I have decided that I have seen enough.

As he tried to elbow me, I couched down, taking a step back with my right foot, before I stood but as I did I turned counterclockwise, only standing on my left foot as I slightly raised my right, and gave him a kick in the face with my right foot, causing him to lose his balance and fall.

"That's enough for now." I informed as he got up. "I must say that you have improved a lot these past two months, and I believe that you can practice Baji Quan by yourself now, correct?"

"Yes, that is correct." He answered.

"Alright then, continue practicing the fighting style in your free time." I informed. "We'll be tackling a different one next time."

"I see, thank you, Suzuno!" He spoke as he bowed.

We spent the rest of the day study sparing, with me actually attacking, but I only used Baji Quan, like Genos.

"Rain?" I muttered as I noticed the droplets starting to slowly pour down. "Let's end it at here for now, it's starting to get dark too." I said, earning a nod of agreement from the cyborg. We quickly ran under the tree where my bag laid as the rain was slowly getting stronger.

"Should we wait for it to pass or just say screw it and run?" I asked as I sling the bag over my shoulder.

"We should wait for it to end. We also should look for some shelter." He stated, and I simply nodded in agreement. The other option sounds more fun though, but I didn't argue.

"Actually, I think there's a cave nearby." I informed him.

"We could stay in there for shelter." He informed as I put the hood of my jacket on.

               "Let's go."

I ran, trying to remember where the cave was, and thankfully, we found it. We ran in, making me sigh in relief.

I took off my drenched jacket and looked around.

"I don't think the rain will be stopping any time soon." I heard Genos speak.

I sighed at this. "Right then, how about you start making a fire pit? I'm going to get some firewood really quick." I suggested as I tried to squeeze as much water out of my jacket before I put it on again, zipping it up before I put on the hood.

"Right." And with that I ran out again.

Once I had enough sticks and such, I ran back in the cave.

"Got them." I said with a reassuring smile, upon noticing the worried look on Genos' face.

I placed some in the fire pit he made, and let him make the fire as I took off the jacket once again to let it dry near the fire.

"Well ain't this troublesome?" I commented as I looked out at the rain, just in time to see a flash of lightning, which is soon followed by thunder. "Nee-san must be panicking right now."

"At least we're not hurt, or anything." Genos informed.

               "True." I said in agreement.

We talked to pass the time, hoping for the rain to just end, but sadly it only became worse.

A yawn escaped my lips, catching the cyborg's attention.

"You should be getting some sleep." Genos stated. "Don't worry, I'll keep watch."

To be honest, I was so tired that I couldn't even get myself to argue. So I simply just nodded and laid on my now dried jacket. I closed my eyes and was welcomed by sleep into a warm hug.
