My eyes fluttered open, as I woke up. I sat up, and looked around. Genos was sleeping across from me, leaning on the wall for support.
I look out, noticing that it was now just a small drizzle of rain.
Maybe it might be best to just say screw it and run out while it's still raining lightly, it might get powerful again later so I'm not taking any chances. That was when my stomach growled, informing me that it was starving.
Right... we haven't ate anything besides lunch, and Genos must be starving too. I look outside once again, before a sigh escaped my lips.
A little rain won't hurt, right?
I stood up, and stretched, hearing a few pops here and there, which was oddly satisfying. I took my jacket, contemplating whether to bring it with me or not, but I ended up leaving it on top of Genos as if it was a blanket.
I looked over to the two "hidden" blades on my wrists, and decided to just use that for hunting. I put on my gloves and left, only in my dark purple tank top and black shorts.
I walked around, paying no attention to the rain.
"Maybe I should just get some fish." I thought out loud as I look around. I then heard footsteps coming from behind me.
I turned around, thinking it was only Genos or some harmless animal, only to come face to face with a grizzly bear.
It roared in my face just as a scream escaped my lips in shock. That was when a thought crossed my mind.
'Didn't brother said that you can also eat bear meat? He even said that they tasted great!'
My lips curved up into a smile as I stared the bear dead in the eye. "Bear it is then." I made the two "hidden" blades come out, the same way how that one guy from Assassin's Creed would.
Upon seeing my weapons, the bear started to shiver in fear as I approached it.
"You and me is a meal times three, an E-A-T-I-N-G." I sang playfully as an old favorite song of mine about a cannibal popped into my mind, making the bear fear me more.

"That was fun." I muttered as I placed the meat strategically near the flames to cook. I used the two pairs of chopsticks I had brought with me as BBQ sticks for the meat, after sharpening the tip of course.
I looked at Genos who sat across me. He was still asleep, and still had my jacket on top of him. I turned my gaze to my two blades that were still covered in blood.
"I should clean this up." I thought out loud. I made my way near the exit of the cave and used the rain to clean the blades. It started to rain harder the moment I killed that bear, talk about bad luck.
Once the blades were clean, I placed them back in their proper places and went back to my seat next to the fire. I was still drenched from the rain. Heck, I looked like I jumped into a river and didn't bother using a towel to dry myself off! But I don't really mind now, since I have a fire to warm me up.
My gaze went from the fire to Genos, who I noticed is waking up.
At first he was confused when he saw my jacket on top of him until I spoke, "Morning."
"Good morning, Suzuno." He greeted. He was about to hand me back my jacket but I stopped him when I raised my hand.
"I'll take it once I've dried up." I informed him.
"Why are you drenched anyways? Did something happened while I was asleep?" He asked, a hint of worry was in his voice, as he placed my jacket down next to him.
"Nah." I simply answered. "I just went out to get something for us to eat. It was still raining at that time, but it was lighter. I wasn't going to wait for it to stop since it might rain harder soon, and I was right."
"Aren't you cold? You should wear your jacket."
"It's fine, it's fine. I'm alright with just the fire to warm me up."
"But Suzuno-"
"No need to worry, Genos. I'm fine."He sighed before he got up and made his way to me. He sat behind me and pulled me into a hug. Somehow, he was pretty warm. Is there a heater installed inside him or something?
"Um... Genos? What are you doing?" I nervously asked.
"Warming you up." He simply answered.
Giving up with a sigh, I leaned into his touch, deciding to just get comfy. After a while, I noticed he has yet to let go, despite that I'm all dried up now.
Feeling a little awkward, I spoke up, "Um.. Genos? I'm alright now, so... you can let go now."I awkwardly informed the cyborg.
"I just.." He paused, before he continued. "I just want to hold you, like this."
An awkward laugh escaped my lips, "What? Do you like me or something?"
"N-No." He answered, to my relief. "I... I don't.."
"Of course you don't-"
"That's because I love you, Suzuno."~•~•~•~
