"Didn't see that one coming." I said.

Oh my gosh, did he mean to quote Ursula from The Little Mermaid.

"You see when you are dreaming I can see everything, I'm like an author of someone's story. I can make anything I want happen. In nightmares I can create my own personal horror movie." He continued. "I love the power, which is why I turned on Asa and Alice. I was foolish." (he still is) "They gave me hope and I hurt them. They believed that I was good, and I-I I'm the most awful person in the world. I wanted to make the world a horror fest and lost sight of what is important." he choked up. "Asa, I'm sorry that I did that to you in your dream, she was a human being that I made take advantage of you. It is wrong to do that. Please tell her I'm sorry." tears rolled down his cheeks. It seemed that now he was talking he couldn't stop. "I'm begging you, tell her I'm sorry. I can't live with the guilt."

Asa then was at the most cold heartless sounding person I have ever heard. "Then die with it."

I'm tired of not knowing what is going on. I'm going to find out some things.

"Asa," I said. "He's changed, I'm sure of it. Can't you see that? He has been crying out in apologies since he came back here." I know I'm on very thin ice. "Forgiveness is the first step in healing. Just let it go."

"Aidan," Asa growled. "I can't forgive him, ever."

"Yes," I said. "the past can hurt, but you can either run from it or learn from it."

"Yes it can." Asa said. "I learned not to trust Aaron."

"Asa-" I started.

"Aidan," he said. "You don't understand. Please just leave it alone."

"I would if you would just tell me!" I half yelled.

"Aidan." he said.

"No!" I said. "Why don't you just tell me."

"Fine!" he said. "You want to know I will tell you!"

"Yes I would very much like to know what the heck is going on, why was I even taken here in the first place, why I was born with this power that got me into this flippin' mess in the first place?" I yelled.

He huffed. "Sit down this will take a while."

"The government is the problem." Asa started after he had made Aaron go into the farthest corner of the cave.

"I figured." I said.

"Trust me it is a lot deeper than you thought." he said. "I will tell you back as far as my knowledge." He took a breath. "So When president Kennedy was assassinated by Oswald there was that theory of another shooter. Let's just say Nixon's WaterGate scandal was not his only crime."

"So," I said. "Nixon is the other shooter?"

"Well I was trying to be subtle about it, but yes he is." Asa Said. "But that is not the most important part. After Nixon resigned from office guess who pardoned him. That's right president Ford. Then guess what. Nixon and Ford are partners in crime. Actual real crime. After that I know that the government is getting wicker by the minute, and not the good kind of wicked. The government is evil. Trust no one that has a big role in the government."

"Dude." I said. "That is crazy, But is also somewhat believable. But wasn't Johnson after Kennedy?"

"Yes Johnson was next but he was good being Kennedy's Vice president. But just wait," he said. "A few weeks ago I was listening to a top secret government meeting. So it turns out that all along the United States has been secret allies with Russia. Together they are planning to conquer the world."

"First of all That is really deep. Second of all, you where listening to a top secret meeting!"

"Yes very Deep, and I have my ways about those things. Anyway the point is that joined together with Russia they can always use a new weapon like us." He gestures to all of us, Aaron, Alice, him, and me. "They will offer you almost anything, but will never offer you freedom after being caught. Understand that this is important?"

"Yes I do." I said.

"Good. Now let's get some sleep." he said.

Did you know that it is hard to sleep after learning so much? The truth for me is very difficult.

I tossed and turned all night long getting only two more hours of sleep until the cat had lay down on my chest making it a bit difficult to breathe.

Ugh I have to learn more in the morning about the whole 'The government is evil' thing. I will wait until Asa wakes up.

If only it was that easy.

"I know that this will hurt," I said to Asa. "but I need to know."

He took a shaky breath and began to tell me his story. "When I was eight years old my mom had discovered that I had this uncontrollable power of bending lightning to my will and not my will. She also found out about my sister's powers. So she took us to this cave. She would come every Saturday to give us our weekly food until I was fourteen and she left us. My sister was twelve then. I was having trouble hunting since I burn everything I touch so she did all the hunting. I just cooked it." he smiled. "So I had anger issues back then. My sister had made me so mad for something I can't even remember." he couldn't meet my eyes. "The next thing I knew her heart had stopped from the lightning that I had created."

His words came back to me from the first day we met "It's a curse."

I wanted to hug him but I remembered what happened to his sister. If I touch him I will most likely die.

"I'm sorry." I said. "I know what the guilt feels like. That someone died because of you."

"Really?" he asked.

"Yeah. I accidentally set a fire in a office building a loving father of three children died." I said. "I couldn't talk to anyone about it because no one new about my powers." I finally was able to share that burden with someone. It made me feel better. "And I also forgot to feed my goldfish for a week and he died also." I just tried to lighten the mood.

Asa asked me. "You really killed that man?"

"Yes I did." I said I started crying. I know this was supposed to be about Asa's life not mine.

"Shh." Asa said. "It is okay he is in a better place now."

I shook my head.  "He was my best friend's dad. She still doesn't know that is why her mother is a widow." I continue crying. "She doesn't know."

"I know how you feel." Asa whispered quietly to me.

A/N  Btw None of the government stuff is really true it is just fiction. Thank you also for waiting so long I was at camp this week.
