"Thank you, Lord!"

I prayed before starting to do my morning rituals. I didn't have to choose something classy to wear. I just want to look normal.

Pagkababa ko, naabutan ko silang lahat sa dining area. I kissed my parent's cheeks first before my siblings and I proceed to seat at my usual spot.

"Mag-aaral ka ba talaga?" Napakunot naman ang aking noo sa tanong ni Kuya.

"Do I look like I'm not Kuya?"

Humalakhak naman siya. Goodness! Hindi ka nasanay sa pang-aasar ng Kuya mo Kath. Tss "You don't look like one." He smirked. Ano namang meron sa suot ko? PIU does not have regular uniforms. Kahit ano naman pwedeng isuot.

"Stop it you two! Nasa hapagkainan tayo..." Mommy said. "...And Kaden, stop teasing your sister." It's my turn to smirk at him. Napailing na lang siya sa ginawa ko at nagpatuloy sa pagkain.

"Okay lang ba sa school niyo ang ganyang suot Kath? Doesn't it need to be formal or semi-formal?" Ate Karla asked me worriedly. I smiled at her.

"Oo naman ate. I just want to look simple. And Kuya, I'm not a kid anymore. I'm comfortable with this type of dress." Kuya just shrugged. I know he's just concerned kaya nginitian ko siya pati ang mga ate ko. Ang sarap talaga maging bunso. Hehe

"Mana ka talaga sakin Kath. Ganyan din ako nung college pa ako eh." I chuckled at Ate Karylle's comment. Samin kasing magka-kapatid ay mas close kami ni Ate Karylle. Ate Karla's already married and she had a baby, my niece, Leir. Wala nga lang sila dito ngayon at nasa husband ni Ate. She just wants to spend time with us once a month kaya bumibisita siya dito sometimes with her family and sometimes not. Ate Karylle's working on our company already. She helped Dad and Mom in handling it while Kuya is still on training. And I'm still in college.

"Naman Ate!" I laughed.

"Nandyan na yung driver mo, Anak. Finish your food first." I smiled at Daddy. "Okay, Dad."

I was always excited to go to school kahit nung bata pa ko. I really loved studying and the reason why my family's so proud of me.

Lunchtime came and I'm still here in the girls' comfort room.

I was facing the mirror, talking on my reflection about what should I do. Sinabi ko kasi kina Dash na mauna na sila sa canteen at susunod na lang ako.

"Uhg! Puntahan mo na kasi Kath. Baka may bigla na lang kumaladkad sayo paglabas mo ng CR, sige ka. Nakaka-inis! Pag ito isa na naman sa mga trip niya, I wouldn't tolerate his stupidity!"

Lumabas agad ako ng CR at umakyat na sa stairs papuntang rooftop. I saw him standing near the railings looking at the happenings below.

"I'm here. Now speak up!" Lumingon naman siya sakin nung makalapit na ko sa kanya.

"What took you so long?" Well, I just thought this is some kind of another prank kaya pinag-isipan ko pa ng mabuti kung tutuloy ako o hindi.

"Eh malay ko bang kanina ka pa dito?" It's true! He tilted his head like he was weighing what I just said. I just stared at him straight kaya umiling na lang at napatayo ng maayos.

"I clearly remember telling you last night to come here after your morning classes. And kanina pa natapos ang morning classes mo. Right?" He smirked at my reaction. What's with this guy?

"Wait! Bakit ka ba nagagalit? Pasalamat ka pa nga at tumupad ako sa usapan. Sabihin mo na kasi yung dapat nating pag-usapan at may nag-hihintay sakin sa canteen..." Hinahanap na siguro ako ng Dashes ngayon. Comfort room lang kasi ang paalam ko eh.
