The Girl That No One Noticed...

Chapter 57

                                                     Sang

I found myself being awaken by a loud banging knock as a voice annoyingly called through the door. "HEY YOU GUYS BETTER GET UP GABE WILL BE HERE ANY MINUTE  TO GET SANG READY AND I DON'T WANT TO BE ON HIS BAD SIDE!" Marc called out. "Raven make him shut-up, it's too stinking early for this cr*p." I groaned not bothering to open my eyes as I rolled away from the Russian to my left and curled up to a chuckling Corey on my right. 

After watching a movie at Owen and Sean's place I got a ride back to the Toma's apartment building and spent the night sandwiched between Raven and Corey, which I was starting to get pleasantly used too. "You heard little bird, leave." Raven husked out sending a slight shiver down my spine, that morning voice got me every freaking time. "Maybe we should get up if Gabe is coming over." Corey murmured lightly by my ear as I groaned a 'no' into his shoulder. 

"Come on Sang I have coffee!" Marc called through the door once more, I cracked one eye open in slight interest to find Corey grinning down at me before firmly shutting my eye tight again. "Tempting but no." I called as I snuggled deeper into Corey's side, ignoring the bulge I felt brushing against my side. I heard the Russian slip out of the bed, leaving cold air at my back and making me shiver at the loss of warmth, but I was determined to stay put for now.

 I heard Raven open the door and have a whispered conversation with his friend, but I chose to ignore whatever they were talking about and catch whatever z's I could before Gabe got here. "Sang please get up, I made your cup of coffee special and everything." Marc's voice was closer now and I could hear the pouting tone, I growled and shifted further away from him in answer. "Fine if you want to be like that then I will use the secret weapon." Marc huffed softly. Great and just what secret weapon did the boy think was going to get me out of the warm and cozy bed? 

"Axel made bacon!" Marc's words barely left his mouth before my eyes flew open and I jolted up. "I'm up!" I cried as I scrambled out of the blankets and escaped the bed, hoping from foot to foot at the cold floor. "Where is the bacon?!" I asked eagerly heading out of Raven's room, narrowly avoiding tripping over the two sleeping furry giants on my way to the kitchen. I nudged Duke and Billy out of the doorway as they continued to sleep on, Nuka silently trotting to my side, I made sure to scratch his ears in a good morning greeting before I went to fetch my share of the meaty goodness up for offer. 

"Good-morning Sang." Axel said as he sent a soft smile my way, eyeing my attire with slight amusement. I looked down at my clothes or lack of them really with a 'whatever' shrug, I had decided to just where one of Raven's shirts to bed and it acted like a over-sized dress on me. "Morning, now where is the bacon?" I asked, well ordered really as he pointed to the counter and I spotted the plate of greasy deliciousness.

 I grabbed a plate and quickly piled it with my share of bacon before sitting at the kitchen island, watching Axel cook some eggs for breakfast too as I chowed down on my bacon. I heard three distinct whines at my back and swiveled in my chair to playfully scowl at my pitiful pets. "So now you get up huh?" I huffed to Duke and Billy as they wagged their tails, eyeing the bacon in my hand. "No way pups this is mine, you already had your breakfast." I complained as I pointed to their now empty bowls which had been full moment before.

 Nuka however turned up the begging a bit by putting that adorable wolf-like head of his right on my knee and looking up at me with those big sad puppy-dog eyes of his. I tried to stay strong I really did but Nuka is my true puppy dog weakness and I sighed the moment I knew my resolve had crumbled to pieces. "Fine one piece for each of ya, but that's it." I huffed as I tossed them each a piece of bacon which they eagerly gobbled down before curling up at my feet to silently watch and hope I would drop more.
