"Watch over me will you?"

"Always."

"I'll be back, promise."

"I know you will."

Watanuki ran through the halls of the shop, calling for the owner. "Yuuko-san!" He headed straight for the reception room, sliding open the door and seeing her lay down on the couch, holding her head.

"As I thought..." He sighed, walking in and scolding her. "You have to stop drinking so much that you get hangovers!"

"What are you talking about..." She sluggishly got up from the couch, a ping-pong paddle appearing in her hand. She started twirling around the room. "Look at this swift movement!"

"Why are you demonstrating air ping-pong to prove that you're sober?!" Watanuki yelled. "And how are you succeeding!?"

He sighed, putting down the package he brought onto the table. It caught Yuuko's attention and she waved her hands at the bag, asking what it was. Watanuki smiled, feeling nostalgic and opened the package, revealing a cheesecake that he made before coming to the shop. Yuuko sat down and asked for wine.

"White wine goes well with gelatine cheesecake, though a dry sparkling wine would fit too..."

Watanuki chuckled, sighing. "Well, if it makes you happy, then I don't mind."

I missed this...

"Someone else who's gonna be happy eating this will be coming over too."

"Huh...?"

Watanuki's phone rang and he retrieved it, crying out in disappointment at the name.

'The Super-Idiot'

-

A few minutes later, Maru and Moro greeted the guest at the door.

"Hi."

"'Hi'?" Watanuki questioned, rounding the corner to see Domeki at the shop's front door. "Don't give me that!"

Domeki walked into the shop, taking his shoes and heading straight to the reception room to where Yuuko and the cheesecake were waiting with the help of Maru and Moro.

"Don't just let yourself in!" Watanuki screeched, running after him.

"I didn't," Domeki stated, being circled by Maru and Moro as they walked down the hall.

"You don't even have a wish do you?!"

"Not now, at least."

"Then you don't even have any reason to be in the shop!"

"I do."

They stopped at the door and Domeki came into view of Yuuko. "Ah, there you are, Domeki-kun."

-

They moved to the back porch and Yuuko cheered at the champagne and cheesecake. Watanuki smiled as Yuuko enjoyed her food.

"Well..." He sighed. "If it makes you happy, then I don't mind."

He then proceeded to yell at Domeki for voicing his opinion on the cake, his heart squeezing in slight pain. Huh...?

Yuuko and Domeki got to business. Apparently, it wasn't Domeki that had a wish, it was an acquaintance.

"Watanuki," Yuuko huffed. "Your straight man act's too overpowering recently. Sure, it's good to get upset at your partner's routine sometimes, but do it too much and it'll kill the comedy."
