The new kid

Hey guys this is my first story so please comment if you have any thoughts on anything and now for the famous disclaimer I do not own fairy tail the amazing Hiro Mashima does.

Erza's POV~
The gates of fairy tail high were opened in a welcoming manner and I ran through them, straight to the lockers
"Sweet still 2 minutes to spare" I mumbled while shoving my bag into my messy excuse of a locker I really need to clean this out some time, shoot that's the first bell. I managed to get to class on the third bell and sit down in my seat next to me was Lucy Heartfilia my ultimate best friend and Levy McGarden the smartest in the class and I wouldn't be surprised if she's the smartest in the whole school.

Mr Gildarts who looked at me in surprised since I was on time for once I rolled my eyes back at him and looked back down at my revision books since I forgot to revise for the stupid test today
"Now class before we start the test today we have a new kid" everyone was looking at the door and when he walked in you could practically see hearts in most of the girls eyes as they stared and squealed to each other about how hot he was, thinking that they were quiet which they weren't. I popped my hand under my head and looked bored because I honestly was, I didn't see what was so good about him,
"Introduce your self" Gildarts said snapping me out of my thoughts, the new boy gave him a quick nod turned to us and flashed a smile which made a girl actually faint on her friend,
"Hello my name is Jellal Fernandez" his voice was smooth and sent chills down my spine
"Well Jellal can you please take a seat in front of Erza the girl with red hair and brown eyes?" He skimmed the classroom before eyes looked at me and I couldn't help but mentally scoff I mean I was the only girl in the whole school with this hair colour.
"Hmm looks more like scarlet to me" I raised my eyebrow at that and thought to myself how come now else believes me? I looked up to see him suddenly standing in front of me
"Hello, it's Erza right" he held out his hand I accepted it before saying,
"Yes, and your Jellal if I'm not mistaken" he gave me a slight nod before taking seat in front of me. The girls in the class were watching and instantly started whispering and by the way Jellal tensed and looked annoyed made me think that he heard them, though to be honest I didn't really care I was used to it considering my reputation.

Jellal's pov ~
Erza seems like a sweet girl and Mr Gildarts is really nice. I could feel eyes bearing into my back and girls whispering all around me and that annoyed me, I always hate it when they do that. The test that Mr Gildarts was talking about was passed around I was handed it by the boy with red hair on my right he said his name was Natsu and I passed them to the boy on my left who said that his name was Gray.

I didn't have to do the test since it was my first day instead I got a sheet that explained what the class had learned for the test but the whole while I couldn't help but think that Erza's hair it was the beautifulest scarlet colour I had ever seen, why do I like her hair so much? I shook my head and continued with the sheet and a while later we were dismissed for lunch.

I sat with Gray and Natsu who (after fighting) gave me the low down on everyone in the school, we moved table after table until we came to a table with Lucy Heartfilia a girl with long blonde hair and was second smartest to the girl with short blue hair opposite her with a pile of books whose name was Levy McGarden , beside her was another girl with lighter, long blue hair, her name was Juvia Lockser she was obsessed with gray and opposite her was Erza who apparently was the schools tough girl and I stared at her as she fantasised over a piece of strawberry cake and thought that was cute,I was interrupted from my thoughts when Natsu said,
"Have a thing for Erza huh I wouldn't blame you she's hot but I like Lucy better ... don't tell anyone"
"Well the flame brain finally comes out huh" Gray said smirking evilly
"What did you say ice princess?!!" But before they could start fighting again I said
"No it's just that when I said hello before she seemed really sweet" I watched as Natsu and Gray looked at each other then burst out laughing uncontrollably,
"H..hey you guys!!" I said a little flustered their laughter just increased and I felt everyone's eyes on our table mostly giggling at Natsu and Grays' sudden outburst.
