The Crush

Chapter 1

Johnathans day started out like normal. He got up, ate breakfast, got dressed, and went to school. He would get to school, talk to his friends, wait for the bell, and then go to first period. Johnathan is a 10th grader at Middleston High school. He loved to see his crush at school. Harley Hanker. She had brown her, blue eyes, and was very skinny. She always wore skinny jeans. You would never see her without skinny jeans. Although Johnathan had a crush on Harley, he had never talked to her. Not because he was scared, (because trust me he would) he just never had time. He was hoping to talk to her today, but he figured he wouldn't anyway.

His first period is science class. His teacher was Mr. Hunterson. They were learning about the cell. Johnathan wasn't interested in it though. So he would fall asleep during class. But he never got caught, including today. The bell rang for second period, his favorite class of the day. Math class. It was his favorite because he sits next to Harley. He figured that today he would talk to her. So as soon as he got to class he looked for her. Then he locked eyes with her. He went to his table and sat down. "Hey." He said to Harley. "Hey, how are you?" She asked not to interested. "Pretty good. How about you?" He asked politely. "Not to good, because we're in school." She responded sadly. "Ha! Yeah, true."

         Later Johnathan went to lunch with Harley. They started to talk about random stuff. As they were walking in the hallway, coming back from lunch, Johnathan fell over, grabbing at his chest. "Johnathan!" Harley called. "What's wrong?" "I...I don't know! I... I need to go to the hospital.

Johnathan was rushed to the hospital. As soon as he got there he saw his parents. Then his whole world went black. He just passed out. He woke up again, 9 hours later. He saw his mother and father. Rose and James. He saw his little sister. Bell. And the most surprising of all. He saw Harley, his crush. Of all the other people she showed up. The whole room was silent. The first to speak was Johnathan. "Can I speak with Harley right now? Please." "Sure honey." His parents said in unison. They left the room. "I just wanted to tell you that....."
"I know." Harley said.
