John made his way down a busy street in his home town, with his dogs, Klondike and Sundae both on leashes. The cold Autumn air made John shiver intensely. He looked down at his dogs and noticed them walking without a problem. They looked, well, happy. Their fur kept them warm all throughout the cold seasons and John was ever so jealous.
Klondike and Sundae then suddenly began barking, wagging their tails almost in sync. John looked to the direction his dogs were and saw a sign that read, "Starbucks" in large letters. He cringed and looked into the large glass windows that kept all cold out of the small coffee shop. He saw couples laughing and talking, holding cups between the hands, moving it to their lips ever so often.
Johns mouth watered at the sight. Maybe it was the cold, maybe it was something else, but at this point he was not thinking straight. He dropped his dogs' leashes and walked into the coffee shop. Oh John, what have you done.
