"You ready?" Grayson asked as we pulled into a parking spot in Lake Hollywood Park.
"Very." I said getting out of the car, putting my backpack on my back.
Grayson climbed out and took his GoPro out to film our hike. We walked up to a spot where a bunch of tourists were taking pictures in front of the Hollywood Sign.
"Is this the closest we're gonna get? Because that was not a hike at all." I chuckled. "And it's still far from it."
"Don't worry. Our hike is just starting. We have to walk up Mulholland Drive for a bit, down Durhand Drive, up Ledgewood Drive, then Rockcliff Drive and Durhand Drive again. Then there's this white wall that hides the official hiking trail to the sign. It takes you to the closest spot you can take pictures with, but then there's this other road up that we can take that takes us to the back of the sign where there's this amazing view of the whole city." Grayson explained, pointing down to the road we will be walking on and at the Hollywood sign.
"Oh wow. Long way." I chuckled. "I'm not gonna remember the directions, you're just gonna have to lead the way."
He chuckled "Figured."
"Let's go." I said taking the GoPro from him.
We started walking up Mulholland drive. "So I assume you want to hike all the way up?"
"Yeah. I want the full experience." I answered.
"Good." He said as we continued walking.
We walked for about an half hour through all the streets until we came to the hiking trail. We hiked up to the spot where a bunch of tourists were taking pictures with the sign.
"Ooh I want a picture!" I said excitedly and gave Grayson my phone, running to a spot. "This spot good?"
"Move a little right." Grayson said holding up my phone to take pictures.
I moved a little right and smiled for the picture.
"Try to do one of those High School Musical jumps." He suggested.
"Yes! That would look so good." I exclaimed. "Okay, get ready, Bailey."
"One, two, three, go!"
I jumped up High School Musical style as best as I could, and laughed at myself when I landed. Grayson smiled and handed me my phone to show me some of the pictures.
"These are good." I chuckled. "Now it's your turn."
Grayson went and stood on the same spot as me. "Should I jump too?" He chuckled.
"Yeah." I chuckled.
Grayson jumped up, posing for the picture. He probably did it better than me.
"I want a smile one too." He said and I nodded, taking the pictures of him as he smiled.
Grayson came over to me and looked looked through all the pictures I just took of him.
"All of these are great, but..." Grayson said still looking at the pictures.
"But what?" I asked, confused of what he wants.
"I need some with you in it." He looked up from the phone and smiled at me, sliding his glasses onto his head.
"True. Selfie time!" I yelled and Grayson laughed.
"Selfies are actually so stupid if you think about it." He chuckled.
"It is." I laughed. "Come on, let's just take a few."
He nodded and we positioned ourselves in front of the sign. We smiled for the picture when a middle aged guy with a little girl by his side approached us.
