Hunter's P.O.V.
As soon as I stepped into Forrest's car, Elena hounded me with questions.
"How'd it go?"
"Did he make a move?"
"Did he ask you out?"
"Did y'all make out?"
"Did you go to his room?"
"Did-" I cut her off by slapping her across the face. Her cheek instantly left a red mark from where I hit her. She grabbed her cheek and scooted away from me. "OW!" She cried. "Did you just bitch-slap me?" She asked, bewildered.
"Yes, I did. And it felt good." I replied smugly. I look over to the driver's seat and see Forrest staring out the window, looking at Hayden. "Earth to Forrest." I say.
"Oh. Sorry. Hi Hunter. How was your date?" He asked, his gaze still focused on Hayden.
"It was not a date! We were just working on our project!"
"Damn." Forrest says softly, not listening to what I just said and still looking at Hayden. "Look at him. How come you always get the cute guy, Hunt?"
"I DID NOT "GET" HIM. WE WORKED ON A FREAKING PROJECT, NOTHING ELSE HAPPENED!" I say, getting angry. Okay, I admit, some of that was a lie. He said that my eyes were beautiful. He said I make him nervous. He knows that he makes me nervous. But there was not a chance in hell that I was going to tell that to Elena and Forrest.
"Okay, okay, fine. But at least tell us everything that happened." Elena says as Forrest begins to pull out of the driveway.
"Nothing interesting happened. We got to his house, we sat down on the couch, and worked on the project. Then after like an hour we got some goldfish because we were hungry. We ate it, and then you guys called, and here I am." I say, lying through my teeth. Elena eyes me suspiciously, then says,
"You're lying."
"What? No, I'm not." I say, lying again.
"Yes, you are. Hunter, I'm your best friend. I can tell when you're lying. Your face gets red and you always look down. You're lying. Tell us what really happened." Elena persisted
"The woman speaks the truth." Forrest says.
"Nothing happened. Seriously." I say. I begin to feel a little bit of guilt for not telling them, but then I realize that I would be teased and hounded for the rest of my life, so I push down the guilt and I stick to my story.
"Why do you think she's lying?" Forrest whispers to Elena, but purposely making it loud enough that I can hear.
"Something big must have happened." Elena whispers back. "I bet they had sex."
"OMG! That must be it!" Forrest says quietly. Then, loudly, he says, "So, Hunt, was it good sex?" He asks casually. I reach towards the front seat, wanting to strangle him, but then he says,
"Hey! You can't hit the driver! We could get in an accident." I slowly lean back towards my seat and say,
"You got lucky this time, Parker." I say threateningly.
(FYI, Parker is Forrest's last name).
"She's feisty today." Elena says. I roll my eyes.
Hiiiiiiiiii.
Some of you might be kind of bored right now. I'm sorry. I promise, it will get more interesting. Soon.
I'm sorry that Hunter's a little violent. Lol. You'll get used to it.
Sooo yeah.
I will publish more soon.
I'm at the beach right now so I've been busy.
And I'm a bit preoccupied with other things.
I won't bore you with the details.
Okay.
Oh my gosh. I talk too much.
Sooo I'm just gonna go now.
Bye.
