My Past

        My name is Bruce Huff and I'm an assassin. I have always wanted to be one since I was little. My father was busy with his work but during his free time he would train me and show me different moves. He was a strong man until he was diagnosed with cancer but even after that he was hustling around trying to find Mom.

      My mom was taken from us a couple of weeks before Dad got diagnosed. He tried his hardest to find her but they have been gone for a month and a half now. We have tracked her down and now we're planning on approaching the kidnappers with violence because obviously trying to make a deal isn't working.

     But why is my mom so important to this company? She is the one left in charge from her family traditions and now since she's gone I'm the leader. This company was made years ago. In this company we're the good guys trying to save people but people don't know about us because we give the credit to the FBI and the police. We're the ones who find out who was kidnapped, where they are, how to get there, and in fact we even bring the criminals to the police.

That gets me mad. That's the only thing I hate about my job. We get paid good from the government. I believe even better than police and the FBI. It makes sense because we're doing all the work! But for my hard work and bravery I would want credit. I'm not much of the brains part though. And specially with all that's going on with the past down traditions of being leader.

     This was so unexpected because my mom never told me how to take charge of all these people. Heck, she didn't even tell me I was going to be in charge if something happened to her. But this dude named Eric ,that was one of my moms best friends, was telling me all of the things to do. In fact, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't even have done anything. So I made it where he was in charge instead of me.

   Ever since I told everyone the news of him being in charge, he has put us all in advance training. Not to toot my own horn but I'm the best one here. I have been training ever since I was little and my mom is the leader even though she isn't here now.

   We trained for weeks but it felt like months. He has increased it and increased it. We also sharpened our tools and advance our different kinds of moves. It wasn't just training that was hard but he wants us to advance our knowledge too.

      He made us look over the different routes where my mom was at, made us learn different ways to attack with no sound, and also different ways to advance our skills.

     I have been either training, studying, or practicing. I had no time to realize. Actually, I don't even have time to think about realizing. But this is my mom so I have to save her. I would let down everyone and I would feel guilty about not saving her for Dad.

             It's not even just that, this whole company went down hill ever since she went missing. People has been so stress and so busy it's hard to socialize. The only socializing that is around here is Eric giving the teachers orders on today's torture.

    But today was different. Today was the day that we get assigned partners. Hopefully I could get a male remotely close to my strength which makes the route easier so we could chose the most dangerous one and get noticed for bravery.
