Before You Start

I want to begin by thanking you for reading this book. It's been a project of mine for almost 5 years and it makes me ecstatic that so many people still enjoy reading it. There are a few topics I get messaged about a lot, so I wanted to start off by addressing them.

1: 14 is way too young for the main character!

Serrina, the main female protagonist in this book is 14 years old. I am aware that 99.9% of your parents would have whooped your asses or kicked you out if you had gotten into her situation and I'm 99.9% certain I would've had an ass beating too, but that's how I wrote the story and a lot of the details in the book don't make sense if you pretend she's older than that.

2: How old is Justin in this story?

Justin Bieber is 16. When I wrote this book, he was 16. When I edited this book, he was 20. Keep in mind that I didn't start write this book recently and decided to write in the past, I wrote it a long time ago and I don't plan to change the ages of any charaters.

3: Why is Serrina so dumb?

Serrina is dumb as shit. She makes a lot of stupid decisions and says a lot of stupid shit, but what 14 year old girl is all knowing? If you can tell me one, I'd be baffled. She's as realistic as a made up, fan fiction character can possibly be.

4: What kind of 14 year old has sex?

I hate to break all of your perfect bubbles, but statistics show that most teenagers are having sex by the age of 15, therefore 14 isn't that much of a stretch. Get used to the idea that children are having sex. 

I agree that some of the details in this book may be dramatic and I promise that youre not the only person wondering why some people are so dumb, but that is how I wrote it, therefore, thats how it is.
