I burst through the front door, and my mom had came out of the kitchen. She saw my distressed face and fret polish upon her face. "Whats wrong honey?" she asked. "Your face seems very flustered. Did something happen?"
Should I tell her about meeting my mate, but I don't even know who the person was. "Nothing wrong mom, I had just saw something that shock me on way to the door, and I'm fine." I said while running my hand through my hair.
"Okay, but what about dinner. Did you get the gorceries from the store?" she asked at the same time as she made her way back to the kitchen.
Damn, I forgot the gorceries, "No, I didn't get I was hanging out with a new friend I made at school, her name is Lisa and she is not human. She has a mate named Thomas which I think is not human either by their scent." I told her. "I had forgotten all about it after I left them and came straight home."
"Well don't worry about the not human part they might be pack members of the Royal Pack. I understand that you had forgot, and it's okay will just order some pizza. Is that okay with you?" she asked.
"Yeah that's fine. Well, I'm going up stairs to my room because I am really tired and stuff." Then I went up the stairs towards my room, open my door, and closed it behind me. I drop all of my things by my bed, and jump on top of my queen size bed. I whip out my phone and dialed Angel's number.
Ring! Ring! "Hello?" she answered on the second ring.
"Hey Angel, how is it going?" I asked her.
"Hey, Jacey it's being going great. I called mom early, and she told me that you started you first day in college." She said and I could hear the excitement in her voice. "So how was your first been? I want all the details."
"Well, I made a couple of friends with the Royal Pack, who thought at first I was girl after we bump into each, and they tired to help me up." She bursted out laughong on the other end.
"That is halarious, they really thought you were a girl."
"Yeah, and I know they think of me as a human since I hadn't shift yet." I said to her then her laughing increases. "Yeah, yeah laugh it up." I had a flashback about my day and remember the man that was my mate. "Angel are you alone right now?" I asked and her laughing ceased.
"Yeah, why? What's wrong?" her voice quiver in concern.
"I met someone today while I'm was shopping for gorceries after school," I started out. "He was super, mega, outstanding, goregous. We bump into each other because I wasn't paying attention and when he helped me up I felt sparks going through my entire body." I had a pause on the other end of the phone. "Angel, are you atill there?"
"Ahhhhhhh!" I drop the phone out of shock, I pick back up, and held it to my ear.
"What is wrong with you!" I screamed at her.
"Oh my god, you found him. You found your mate, right?"
"Yeah, I was going to tell you when you rudly interupted me, but yes I found him." I said with a ting proudness in my voice.
"What did you do when you felt the sparks after he helped you up?" she asked and I winced knowing what I had done.
"I ran away from him." I whispered.
"What?!" she screamed through the phone. "You did what?"
"I was in shocked by the pull between us and I freaked out. I ran out the store with him calling my name." I explained.
