My parents always reminded me to cherish every single day of your teen life, that you will never be able to relive them. I call complete bullshit. Teenage life consists mainly of drama and netlix.

Today marks the last first day of high school. Yes, that's right. I'm officially a senior, the people that every child in Westmills High looks up to. I remember my freshmen year, nervous as hell. But in all honesty, high school was not as bad as I thought.

I walked into the ran down school, making my way over to my group of friends. We weren't popular, but we definitely weren't classified as losers either. We were friendly with both classes which meant less drama.

My group consisted of five people, one including me of course.

First up was Emma, renowned for her kindness and honesty. She was the mother of the group, but of course she wasn't innocent. She was the first to consume alcohol between all of us, not what we would have thought going into high school. She had redish hair and always has it tied up in a high and neat ponytail. Through her years at Westmills, she gained head of the school council and head of the drama club. She took all these roles under her arms, yet still able to sustain her excellent streak on the honor role.

Next up was Clarkson, but no one calls him that. He goes by Clark and he is apart of the school lacrosse team. He is a strong boy, very well built. He has brown, curly hair that any girl would love and die for instantly. Not going to lie, I had a crush on him growing up, but soon faded off as we became closer. He was the only one on the lacrosse team that wasn't a jerk and except  a down to earth guy.

Then there's Vanessa. She's quite reserved and doesn't really have anything going on besides the fact that she is from Australia. She was late to our group, joining some time in Sophomore year, but doesn't get treated differently. I think we are the closest as I see her more as a sister than a best friend. She's very pretty with dirty blonde, wavy hair and bright blue eyes.

Finally, we come across the comedian of the group, Finn. Finn is a very...small built boy, with the biggest smile anyone could possibly have. He is the kind that would cheer you up when your upset, and he was the first person I instantly clicked with. His boyfriend Darren is very nice, but he sits with his other friends.

First day of school just consisted of rules and homeroom, nothing too spectacular. We walked into the gym were we would get our lecture on how important this year is, behavior and all this other bullshit that I didn't care about. This year marked the big lacrosse season across the state of New Jersey, where all schools would compete against each other. Coach Martins walked onto the raised floor, clearing his throat before checking if the microphone was on.

"Seniors, this year is not only your last year of high school, but also the last year that your school will be representing us at possibly the most challenging lacrosse season. You guys should feel privileged that your class will be competing against others. I expect hard work and determination from all players this year, and I also expect great encouragement between all students. All I can say is enjoy this year, this is the last of it guys. After this, you are free do the whatever the hell you want." A round of applause disrupted him, while everyone laughed at the man since he was trying to shut us all up.

"Please welcome to the stage, your new captain of the lacrosse team, Grayson Dolan!"

Oh god.

I bit my lip as I watched the boy that crushed my sophomore heart to pieces walk onto the stage very cockily. All his obnoxious friends cheered for him, shouting rude things here and there. He spoke about how we will win, but I zoned out as I watched his pink, plumped lips move in sync with his words. How his brown locks sat perfectly above his head. How his-

NO! I need to stop. Never in my life will I ever think of him as nothing more than a worthless piece of shit.

After the speech, we were all excused to make our way to homeroom. Luckily, I had Clark in mine so it wouldn't be too bad. The only thing was that Ethan, Graysons twin brother that doesn't necessarily like me, is in it.

We make our way to homeroom and go to our assigned seats. I was thankful that I didn't have to sit beside that girl Mia who chewed her gum like a cow.

"Mr Dolan, how nice of you to actually join us." Mr Asshelmet scoffed. He pointed to the empty seat beside me and Ethan trailed his heels over to me.

"Oh, well isn't this great." He rolls his eyes as he throws his bag onto the ground, immediately after slouching into his chair.

"I'm not happy about this either, Ethan." My eyes meet the smirking boy as he shakes his head, almost like this is funny.

"What? Why the hell are you laughing?" I question the boy. He continues to lightly chuckle as he looks back at me.

"You don't hate me, Ceclia. You're just pushing me away because my brother is your ex."
