The following day, the rush of winning our first Quidditch match faded away, leaving us to carry on with our school work. Today wasn't too bad, to be honest. Harry, Ron, Hermione and I had Potions this morning with the ever-entertaining Snape and then Transfiguration with McGonagall. We then had a free period to complete any outstanding homework being continuing with double Defense Against The Dark Arts. After all that, we decided to head off and meet with Hagrid and talk about the very suspicious behaviour Snape was displaying yesterday during the match,
"Nonsense! Why would Snape but a curse on Harry's broom?" Hagrid scoffed at what we were so sure about,
"Who knows? Why was he trying to get past that three-headed dog on Halloween?" Harry questioned, which stopped Hagrid, Ron, Hermione and I in our tracks,
"Who told you about Fluffy?" Hagrid asked,
"Fluffy?" Ron inquired,
"That thing has a name?" Hermione gasped,
"What a name it has! A massive thing like that and it has a cute cuddly name like Fluffy!" I scoffed,
"Well, of course, he's got a name. He's mine. I brought him off an Irish feller I met down the pub last year. Then I lent him to Dumbledore to guard the...." Hagrid quickly paused, not revealing what we so desperately wanted to know,"
"Yes?" Harry egged on but to no avail,
"I shouldn't have said that. No more questions. Don't ask any more questions, that's top secret, that is," Hagrid gushed,
"But Hagrid! Whatever Fluffy's guarding, Snape's trying to steal it!" Harry cried,
"Codswallop! Professor Snape is a Hogwarts teacher," Hagrid scoffed,
"Hogwarts teacher or not, I know a curse when I see one. I've read all about them. You have to keep eye contact. And Snape wasn't blinking," Hermione explained, which caused us all to nod in agreement to the giant,
"Now, you listen to me, all four of you. You're meddlin' in things that ought not to be meddled in. It's dangerous. What that dog is guarding is strictly between Professor Dumbledore and Nicholas Flamel," our heads snapped up as soon as another name escaped Hagrid's mouth,
"Nicholas Flamel?" Harry asked,
"Who on Earth is Nicholas Flamel?" I inquired,
"I shouldn't have said that. I should not have said that. I should not have said that" Hagrid mumbled before shuffling towards his hut,
"Who's Nicholas Flamel?" Harry pondered before looking at Hermione,
"I don't know," she hushed.

A few weeks had passed since our conversation with Hagrid and the snow had finally settled around Hogwarts castle. However, we had no time to enjoy this marvellous weather. Instead, we spent most of our free time searching for any information on Nicholas Flamel. But we were yet to find anything. It was now the last day of term, and I found myself in the Great Hall with Harry and Ron. They were both playing the brutal game that is Wizards Chest while I wrote a letter to Remus. Sadly, I was staying at Hogwarts for Christmas as Remus was going through one of his cycles. I knew he was keeping me safe, but I would have given anything to spend it with him. The castle was a complete buzz, with people wishing each other a Merry Christmas before heading off to the carriages,"Knight to E5," Harry spoke, while I looked up from my letter to see what was happening. I noticed Hermione, who was pulling her suitcase behind, come over to us,
