My name is Maia. I have one boyfriend now, but believe It or not, I once had twelve boyfriends. Now before you go calling me a hoe, i did not date all these boys at once. kinda. ...It's complicated. They weren't really all my boyfriends, just all of the boys that heavily flirted with me. Just grab a bowl of popcorn, get comfy, and listen closely. This is my story.
"Maia! GET UP!" My 16 year old sister, Chloe, shakes my bed. It's 6:30 in the morning, and I do NOT want to get up. This is my last day of middle school. Thank god. As much as I love school, I need a break. Sometimes you need 3 months to rest. And read. And write fanfic. Yeah.
"WAKE ME UP AT SEVEN!" I shout, my pillow over my head.
"Mom said you have to get up NOW!"
"FINE! GO AWAY AND I'LL GET UP!"
"No, you won't."
"How will you know if you never leave??"
"Fine."
She finally leaves, and I jump out of bed, even though I don't want to. I slump down the steps, put some cinnamon toast in the toaster, and then go to sit in the living room.
"Maia! I'm leaving!" My sister shouts from the kitchen.
"Did you take your medicine?"
"No."
"You're welcome."
We both laugh. This is pretty much an everyday routine, due to the fact that she forgets to take her ADD meds almost every day. But, It does give me a feeling of great responsibility (strangely) .
I hand her her lunch and give her a hug. (I do it every day, it's an OCD thing)
"Bye!"
"Bye!"
"Love you!"
"Love you too!"
(I also do that every day)
I shut the door behind her, locking it firmly. It takes me about 10 minutes to get dressed in my high waisted shorts, my spider-man crop top, and my sperrys.
I put some BB cream on my face, and add the perfect amount of mascara. (foundation is really bad for your skin, so I use BB cream.)
I pack my lunch with a ham and Colby jack cheese sandwich, some barbecue chips, yogurt, a granola bar, and a Capri Sun. This is my lunch almost every day, except I switch up the yogurt flavor, and the kind of chips that I put in.
I take my ADHD, OCD and Terret medicine, which is only one pill. (I know, I know. I have a lot of issues.)
Scarfing down my toast, I grab my headphones from the counter. "I'll be back soon, Sophie." I say to my dog, grabbing my keys. Then I hop out the door, lock it, and walk to the bus stop.
Last day.
Last day.
Last day.
