Chapter Six

Miss Brown had to talk to Colton and I after class about how we were behaving. And this is probably the line I could never forget from what she said earlier, "Acacia and Colton, I have one word for the both of you, immature." I laughed mentally at that because she barely made sense I mean, so? Why do you care? It's not like she's gonna change the way Colton and I act to each other. In her silly abnormal dreams.

I didn't see Colton while I went out of the room. Seems like he left earlier than I did. But, whatever. Plus it's a good thing not to bump in to him.

***

I'm casually lying on my bed holding my phone. Well, actually, I'm planning to invite Cass over since I'm bored to death.

Hey Cass, come over. I'm bored.

Cass didn't take long to reply, my phone beeped after a minute

Cass

Can't. I'm on a date with Lyndonie. Next time, k? Love u.

Me

Whatever, girly. You have fun with your man, ugh, ew.

Great. Cass is busy. How about Savannah and Angel?

I called both recipients but none of them answered.

Okay so they're all busy.

Screw that. I'm the only one who doesn't have a boyfriend.

Should I get one?

Nah. I'm too lazy for a boyfriend.

My phone flashed again. But it was from an unknown number and not Cass. I hate it when an unknowm number texts me. It creeps me out.

Unknown

Princess

Me

Who are you?

Unknown

Your worst nightmare

Me

Shut up Colton.

Unknown

I'm not Colton.

Me

Then who are you? Asshat? Dipshit? Devil? Gay?

Unknown

Your murderer.....

Me

Ooh I'm scared.

I didn't get a reply after that but instead, I heard footsteps on my terrace.

Shit.

Okay, shit.

He isn't Colton.

God, what if he's a rapist?

I need a weapon. Quick. Think.

Pepper spray?

Right. Pepper spray.

Wait. I don't have a pepper spray.

Umbrella?

Nah.

Phone?

Obviously no!!!

My nervous face turned into a scowl when I caught sight of Colton hiding at my terrace, but obviously laughing his ass off.

The devil was making fun of me.
