Chapter two-First day in the Feudal Era

Sesshomaru's p.o.v.
This girl is strange. She blushes and gets embarrassed easily just by me looking or standing next to her. I must say, for a human girl she is quite beautiful. She has a natural redness to her cheeks and her blue eyes are like stars. What am I saying? I just met her. Rin seems to like her from what I've heard so far. She seems to be nice. Rin smiled and ran up to us and hugged her legs." It's so good to have you back!" She said. The girl blushed and smiled as she kneeled down." It's nice seeing you too Rin." She said." I never got your name, wench." Jaken said. I looked at Jaken." Jaken." Jaken starts shaking." Y-yes mi lord?" He stuttered." Watch your tongue." I said. He nods furiously." Y-yes mi lord!" I look over to the girl." But he is right." I said. She blushes and looks away." M-my name is L-Lily Stone!" She said, stuttering away. Rin smiled." Isn't she pretty?" Rin asked. Well, she is right. She has such innocent eyes. She reminds of a-" Bunny." I said out loud. Lily looks at me, flustered and embarrassed." W-what?" She asked." You remind me of a bunny." I said. She blushes furiously and looks away." Jaken, go find some fire wood. We are resting here."

Lily's p.o.v.
I couldn't stop thinking of Sesshomaru and what he said. I reminded him of a bunny. Wasn't he a dog demon? Does that mean he wants to eat me?! Thoughts filled my head as I thought more and more about it. What does it mean? Did he see me as an innocent little girl? A weakling? Rin pulled gently at my skirt." W-what is it Rin?" I asked her." Can I braid your hair?" She asked. I blushed and nodded. She got some flowers and started braiding my hair. After she braided it, she started putting flowers in my hair. She laughed." You look so pretty!" She said. I smiled lightly and blushed." Thanks Rin..." I said. She laughs and runs to Jaken with a flower in her hand. She puts it on his little hat and he shrieks." Cut it out will you!" He says. I giggle as Rin puts more on his head, making him beg her to stop. I sighed and looked down, saddened. I can't seem to find Kagome. I blame myself for even thinking of this stupid plan. Bit then again, she never talks about her life at home or what she does. She never opens up. I guess I can understand that. I never have nor still do. I don't like talking. It just seems to never help, even though some people say holding in her feelings is bad and that talking helps but it doesn't. I felt something touch my nose and I jumped in surprise and fear. A leaf? I was scared for no reason. I looked at Rin and Jaken. Such a happy family. Jaken's like the butler or care taker and Rin's the child, which makes Sesshomaru the father. Speaking of which.....Where's Sesshomaru?

~Timeskip to night time where everyone's asleep~

I shivered furiously as the cold nipped at uncovered skin. I had given Rin my jacket that I had with me when I fell through the well along with my bag and that left me with nothing. So I picked the wrong day to wear open heels and a skirt. I shivered and shivered violently until I felt something soft and warm wrap around me. I open my eyes and see fur.' Sesshomaru's tail.....' I thought. I look over my shoulder and sit up." You looked cold." He said simply. I blinked. Rin was right. He acts cold and tough but he does have a heart and sometimes he does show it. I blush lightly and smile." Thank you." I said. As I was about to lay down, he asks." Why do you always seem to blush around me?" He asked. I blushed again." W-well as a kid, I-i use to be shy to all kinds of p-people. It also means sometimes I get embarrassed easily. I-I use to- and still do-have a speech impediment that p-people either hate me for or like me f-for. I-I hope that answers your question." I explained. He hums." I was under the impression it had something to do with me saving your life back there." I blushed furiously as the memory popped up." You're handsome." I laid down and hid my face in his tail." T-t-that's not i-it e-either!" I stuttered. Geez Lily. First day in the feudal era and you've made a complete fool out of yourself. Idiot! I heard a soft chuckle. D-did he just-?! I slowly began to smile. He sounds nice when he chuckles. So he does have emotions after all.
