Alayah's POV
(2 Weeks later)
"Want some ice cream baby?" I asked Zoëy.
"Yea" She said hugging my leg.
"Okay, I'll go make you bowl"
My mom was at work and it was just me and Zoëy at the house.
My phone rung and it was Algee. I rolled my eyes and decided to answer.
"Hello" I answered.
"Alayah can we talk?" He asked me.
I looked at Zoëy and her full attention was on the TV.
"About what G" I said.
"Everything please hear me out"
I got the ice cream out the fridge.
"Talk" I said.
"First off let me apologize about the things I've done, I broke your heart and I'm sorry for that, I was so wrong for bringing another woman around our daughter, and I'm sorry for making you feel bad because we haven't had sex in 6 going on 7 months, please understand that I love you and I will do anything to get you back and have you here in our house...I just want to be happy again, I have not cheated on you at all with Ivory or any other hoe! And since you left I have not even talked to her..you really tore my pride down when I saw that video of you and that nigga, I understand why you did it and I want to put that behind us and start over"
"Al-Algee...I love you too, I will always love you, but we just need time to work on ourself and focus on our daughter" I said.
"Please come back home" He said.
I sighed. "I dont know G"
"Layahc Cmon now, you got your whole life in LA..your shop, Zoëy has her preschool down here..you can't just not come back" He said.
That did make sense.
"I guess you're right, I will come back but we're not sleeping in the same bed"
"Fine, I'll sleep on the couch" He said quickly.
I smiled a little. "Okay" I said.
I hung up the phone.
"Here babygirl" I said walking to Zoëy giving her the ice cream.
She took from me.
"What do you say?" I said sitting on the floor beside her.
"Thank you!" She said widening her eyes.
"Manners are very important, you know that" I said kissing her forehead.
"Sorry mommy I forgot"
I smiled and watched tv with her.
