Shaun remembered having fights with his parents , they wanted him to take the noon classes , he knew he wouldn't study there anyway, but in the end his choice was no choice , he had to go.
He had little friends and the good teacher's didn't really teach 'him' the way he wanted them to. The life he had was extremely boring , he thought of skipping his useless classes.
The days he would skip them made him have this uncomfortable feeling as if he were to trick his parents making them think he was actually studying , thinking of how he fooled them he disappointed himself but in the end his feelings of anger and loneliness or the fact that he was liked by only handful of people would gain victory.
It was evening , Shaun realized after looking out of the cafe's tiny window his classes would have been over by now, he took the bus to return home after pushing away hard thoughts of not wanting to.
He trudged his feet on the grassy path of the road and hung his bag across his shoulders trying to waste his interaction period . He rang the bell and got inside.
"Shaun?"
"Yesss?" I said stressing on the s , hearing her voice was so painful.
"Make sure you eat the food in the oven fore you lye down" she said trying to sound cool.
I didnt respond hopefully she wouldnt too but not everything happens the way you want it to.
"I don't wanna see you roaming around the house in the night." she said and returned to her room probably to sleep.
"Okay Mom thanks."
I refreshed myself , changed my clothes and went to the kitchen. I opened the oven with a huge apatite... 'Nothing was there literally nothing, I swallowed my anger and drank lots of water instead the amount which could satisfy my hunger, But another look around and there it is , A bowl of noodles and soup covered with a transparent sheet.
It was arrangered as if it was kept for the president of the United States, anyone who knew me also knew my stomach.
Some time later I was attacked with screams of distress and panic
"Hey........ did you eat my noodles?" she asked.
"That was yours?"
Then there was a moment of silence which I broke because I was unable to stand the look she gave me. I'm sorry i thought hopeing she could read my mind."You ate it".
"I'm sorry".
"UH!".
I walked or as some people would like to call it 'roamed' the house right after we had our argument I felt guilty but then again where was my share, I turned towards the living room, My entire expression changed, Alexa was eating the noodles she'd fought over a few minutes ago.
She didn't seen to notice me soI approached her quietly and asked .
" Where did you get that " I guess I might have startled her, her hand trembling hand dropped the bowl spilling soup all over herself.
"April fools " She said in a childish manner laughing as if she meant she could explain herself .
I was enraged at this , April fools, what the hel, i stormed out of the house , kicked a few pots and ran out of the area.
Dad wasn't home , Mom would always sleep , Alexa and Shizel they both were twins with pride in themselves .
I was disgusted it didn't matter to me that I may have had some female characteristics.
Now i was walking fast across the street then 2 blocks away and finally stopped at the 'Night Restaurant', I sighed as i passed the entrance .
"What would you like" , asked a girl as I sat on the bench, I looked up took me time to realise that she was from my class ,
"Just a coffee, thank you". I said smiling I didn't want to look bad in front of my classmate.
"On it Shaun Louis"
A shiver ran through my spine it wasn't fear it was just plain surprise.
How does she know my name , i mean it would be obvious since were in the same class but we never talked with each other nor was I famous among kids.
I kept on muttering until the coffee arrived ,
"Thanks" I said to the waiter.
I was about to take a sip of it when I felt a vibration on the right pocket of my jeans. At first i decided to ignore it but then when again my lips were about to taste the bitter taste of the coffee , the upper part of my knee vibrated.
It was getting very annoying I took out the phone and read the messages ," I love you - MOM " SENT AT 18:25
"Your room under the cupboard-DAD" SENT AT 18:26
I was so confused at the two messages , but in the end i decided to check them anyway.
I left the money for my coffee on my table and signed one of the waitresses that I had to go and left in confusion.
WITH EVERY STEP SHAUN TOOK HOME MORE CONFUSION FILLED HIM , WHEN HE REACHED HIS HOME HIS HEAD DROWNED WITH CERTAIN FEAR.
