Mutants (yoonseok) DISCONTINUED

chapter 2

   Hoseok was wrong. He should've never believed in Namjoon. "Namjoon what the fuck did you do to them?!" Jin said spitting out the cookie. Jimin, Jungkook, and Taehyung were acting like they were about throw up. They probably were. Hoseok went over to the trash and spit out his cookie if you can even call it one.

   "It's a little salty." Namjoon says coughing. "A little?!" Hoseok asks. "I DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED I FOLLOWED THE RECIPE!" Namjoon yelled trying to defend himself. "WELL THEN SHOW ME EVERYTHING YOU USED BECAUSE YOU MESSED UP SOMEHOW!" Jin yelled back.

Everyone else was laughing in the background. God this was so ridiculous they're like an old married couple. "See right here Jin." Namjoon said pointing at everything he used. "Where's the sugar?" Jin asked looking at Namjoon like he was the dumbest person he's ever met.

"Uh right here idiot." Namjoon says holding up a jar. After a moment everyone just hears a quiet "oh". Namjoon was looking at the label on the jar that said salt. How'd he miss that? Now Namjoon feels stupid but whatever this is funny so he doesn't really care. Everyone kept making fun of Namjoon while he threw the cookies away sadly. God this was gonna stay with him for months they'll never let it go.

They all were just hanging out in Jin's room while they had a movie on and Jungkook and Hoseok were playing a video game. "You know the label wasn't big enough so basically it's Jin's fault the cookies were fucked up." Namjoon says. "Literally that makes no fucking sense idiot." Jin's says back.

After awhile of Jin and Namjoon bickering Hoseok finally beats Jungkook at the game. "HA HA HA I WIN!" Hoseok yells doing a victory dance. "Oh shut up I was just warming up." Jungkook says rolling his eyes with a smile on his face. "Now I get to play!" Jimin says running over and pushing Hoseok out of the way. Hoseok would steal the controller back or something but he was too tired at the moment.

Hoseok sat on the bed where Jimin was sitting before. "Namjoon are you still gonna help me with Math on Monday?" Taehyung asks. "Yeah I'll just drive you to my house and I can help you there." Namjoon replies. "What is it you're having trouble with Taehyung?" Jungkook asks while still looking at the game. "Geometry I don't understand it at all." He says while laying down on the bed dramatically.

"Since I understand it I could help you." Jungkook replies actually looking at Taehyung. "Thanks Jungkook." Taehyung says while smiling. Jungkook doesn't know why but the gesture made him blush so he quickly turns back to the game.

   During the middle of the movie breaking news interrupted it. "People are going missing at an alarming rate in South Korea. In Daegu a total of 20 people have gone missing this week. If you see any of these people please call the police." They then proceeded to show the faces and information about the missing people. "Wait that girls in one of my classes." Jungkook says pointing at a girl named Jenni on the screen. "Hopefully she's okay." Jin then says.

   Then a Police Man was on the screen. "We have noticed that the people who are going missing are between the ages 16-28 so please if you're in this age range be extra careful and don't go anywhere alone." Namjoon saw everyone get worried so he tried to put everyone at ease a little. "Don't worry guys nothing for sure will happen to us we just have to be careful." he said with a reassuring smile.

   That made everyone a little more calm. "That's 20 this week and for the past weeks it just keeps going up." Taehyung says with a sigh. "Yeah it's really sad." Jimin replies shaking his head. "How about we give each other our presents now?" Jin says trying to lighten up the atmosphere. Everyone nods and Jin goes into his closet, taking out all the presents everyone put in there when they first came.

  "Okay how about we go youngest to oldest for opening presents?" Namjoon asks and everyone agrees. Jungkook starts opening his presents from everyone and gets cool stuff. Like gift cards, clothes, and new games. "Thank you!" Jungkook says happily. Everyone else was opening their presents one by one until it was Hoseoks turn. He got clothes and money and figurines and he was very happy. Now he had to open Jimins present.

   Hoseok looked up and noticed that Jimin was playing with his fingers and biting his lip, something he did when he was nervous. Why is he nervous? Hoseok starts opening his present and sees something that looks like a scrap book or something inside. He opens it and freezes when he he sees the pictures. "Well Hoseok what is it?" Taehyung asks because he and most of the others couldn't really see the present well. 

   "It's a scrapbook." Hoseok replies quietly. Hoseok flips through the pages all that had pictures of him and Yoongi or when they all were hanging out before Yoongi went missing. Taehyung was about to ask who was in the pictures when he noticed a tear slip out of Hoseoks eye.

   Hoseok quickly wipes it away then Jimin speaks worriedly "Shit sorry if you want a different present I could get you a new one I just thought... that you'd like it."

   "No Jimin I do like it." Hoseok says smiling now. "I was just surprised and got emotional." He said while laughing a little.

   Hoseok was speaking the truth though. He really did like it. Hoseok didn't have many pictures of Yoongi since his old phone broke after Yoongis disappearance, so he lost all the pictures. He only had a few solid pictures but since Yoongi wasn't that into taking pictures he didn't have a lot. So Hoseok was very grateful to Jimin for printing these out for him.

   After presents were done everyone just hung out for awhile but then had to go home. "If any of you see a creep looking suspicious CALL THE POLICE!" Jin yells as they all walk out the door. They laugh and say they will before getting into their cars and leaving.

   When Hoseok gets back he says Hi to his Dad before going upstairs. His Mom and Dad got divorced a couple months after Yoongi went missing. Yoongi was like a son to both of them and with that added on stress they both just couldn't take their relationship anymore. After they got divorced he found out that his Mom was cheating on his Dad for a whole year.

   Hoseok was disgusted by that knowing how good of a person his Dad is and that he didn't deserve that. So he doesn't really talk to his Mom as much anymore.  She was too focused on her new family anyways. Hoseok changed into pajamas and plopped down on his bed while sighing.

   He picks up the scrapbook Jimin gave him and went through it again. God he misses Yoongi so much. It feels like it's slowly eating away at him as each day goes by. He can't believe it's already been 2 years. 2 years since he's heard his laugh or his voice. Since he's seen his face in person and had a conversation with him.

   He can't help but wonder what is Yoongi doing right now? What is he thinking? And where the fuck is he? The cops stop looking after a year and it just seems that everyone's forgotten about him. Except for him and his friends of course.

   In school nobody dares to mention his name like it's some type of taboo. And when somebody does it usually is some douchebag talking shit about him. Hoseoks already getting pissed off and knows if he keeps thinking about it he'll never fall asleep. So he closes his eyes to calm himself down and eventually falls asleep.
