Chapter 1

"Y/n! Are you ready yet? The bus will be here soon. We are going to be late for school!" Taehyung yelled from outside of your 2 story house.

(Kim Taehyung is your neighbor and your best friend ever since kindergarten. He has always been there for you. To make you smile or laugh when you're sad.)

It was 7:15am. The bus will arrive in 15 minutes. Taehyung looked around, tapped his feet on the ground, and watched the time. He decided to go inside your house and drag you out of the house.

*Ding Dong*
*Door opens*

"Oh! Hello Taehyung. I'm glad you're here. Y/n is still getting ready for school. Please have a seat. Are you hungry?" Y/n's mom said.

Taehyung bowed and said, "I'm fine. May I use your restroom?"

Y/n's mom smiled sweetly and nodded.

Taehyung rushed upstairs and went straight to y/n's room. He opened the door and saw that you weren't there. So he hid in your closet and waited for you.

Y/n finally came out of the bathroom and went to open her closet.

"Y/n!" Taehyung yelled cutely.

Y/n screamed and playfully slapped Taehyung multiple times on his head. He yelled and covered his head while coming out of the closet and sat on y/n's bed.

"Yah y/n. Hurry. We are going to miss the bus." Taehyung whined.

Y/n looked at him annoyed and finished the last touches on your school uniform.

Taehyung rolled his eyes and dragged you down the stairs and out of the house.

"Tae!! Slow down! I can't run fast!" Y/n yelled.

The bus arrived as soon as you both got to the bus stop.

"We're here! We made it in time!" Taehyung cheered.

Y/n giggled.

*At school*

"We are finally here. Ah~ I'm so tired." Y/n said and stretched her arms.

Y/n and Taehyung walked in the hallways and headed to class. When y/n reached her desk, she put your head down.

"Y/n. Are you ok? What's wrong?" Taehyung asked worriedly.

Y/n looked up, "I'm fine. Just sleepy."

He laughed and played with y/n's hair.

*School ends*

"Tomorrow is graduation day. What do you want to do after it?" Taehyung asked while you both walked home.

"Hmm.. I want to explore the world. I want to travel around and eat different kinds of food. Let's go around the world! " Y/n said excitedly.

Taehyung laughed and nodded.

Y/n and Taehyung reached a gas station and decided to stop and buy some ice cream.

While walking and eating, Taehyung said, "After graduation, I'm planning to become a singer."

Y/n looked at him and answered, "Wah! That's awesome! You should! You'll sound great!"

Soon, Y/n and Taehyung reached their homes and entered it.

Y/n sat down on the bed and later fell asleep.

*Next morning*

Y/n's POV

My phone was ringing and I checked it. It was Taehyung. I answered it.

"Hello." I said half asleep.

"Good morning y/n. Did you just wake up?" Taehyung answered excitedly.

"Yeah." I said and checked the time.

"What? The bus is here. Hurry and come before you miss it!" He yelled over the phone.

It was 7:30am. Omg! I'm late. I rushed to get ready and ran to the bus stop with half my hair brushed. When I got there, the bus wasn't there. No one was.

I heard a voice. Laughing.

"Y/n! Hahah did you really just get up when I called you? Did you forget? It's graduation day. No school for seniors today." Taehyung said laughing nonstop.

I gave him a "Are you kidding me?" face and scolded, "Yah! You little.... you scared me!

Taehyung laughed and apologized. He walked with me to my house. We came in and he helped me brush my hair properly.

*Later that day*

Graduation started at 7:00pm. It was 6:45. I finished wearing my outfit and so was Tae. We went to school together and into the auditorium. Our parents sat in the audience and cheered for us.

*At Taehyung's house*

We're done. Finally. I had a headache after taking so many pictures with flashes on. Tae's parents threw a graduation party for the both of us at their house. We were having a great time. There were many people. Family and friends came and celebrated with us.

"Eomma, where is appa?" I asked.

"He left and went to buy some more supplies for the party. He will be back in a bit." Mom answered.

We continued to dance and party. Tae and I did a duet performance for everyone. Everyone clapped. Suddenly, my phone rang.

"Hello?"
"Is this y/n?"
"Yes"
"We are calling from the hospital. There has been an accident. Please come to the hospital."
"Oh...ok. Thank you."

I was worried and sat by myself on the couch while everyone was having fun. I was thinking more than being worried. Why did I get a call from the hospital? Why did they tell me to go there?

Taehyung came and sat next to me. "Y/n. What's wrong?" I told him and we went to the hospital.

*At the hospital*

"Hi. We got a call from here.." I said to the nurses at the front.

"Oh. Y/n right? Your dad got into a car accident not too long ago earlier." The nurse explained.

I was shocked and asked if he was ok. My mom was completely shocked too. We waited until the doctor came.

"How is he?" Taehyung stood up.

"He has lost a lot of blood. He didn't make it. I'm sorry." The doctor explained and left.

Taehyung bowed and my mom started crying. Tae's parents were comforting my mom. She was wailing.

I sat down and didn't say anything after the doctor left. I cried. Nonstop.

Taehyung sat next to me and hugged me. When he hugged me, I could hear him sniffing. He was also crying and so was everyone. I put my arms around him and cried loudly. Calling for my dad while I cried. I didn't want to leave. I wanted to see my dad. The nurse led us to see him. We cried even louder when we got there. After all this crying, the nurse suggested us to go home. She didn't want us to cry anymore. Crying can lead to stress and it can kill us.

Tears were still flowing down my eyes. Taehyung put his arms around my shoulders to comfort me and he walked with me out of the hospital.
