Miles kicked off his shoes as he walked in the door. It was only the first day of the new term and he was already exhausted. Although that might be due to not having eaten much that day. He  suddenly remembered Taehyung forcing some chocolate into his mouth so that he wouldn't be so hungry. Miles smiled to himself. He's really nice.

"Miles!" a high pitched voice assaulted him, followed moments later by a little body slamming into him.

"Ow!" Miles laughed, his little brother then proceeded to squeeze all the breath out of him too. "Hey you!" he laughed, ruffling the boy's hair.

"How was school?" the boy asked.

"It was fine. I made a new frie-Charlie, have you been scratching?" Miles noticed some of the telltale signs of chicken pox not being left alone. Charlie's dotted face had guilt etched all over it.

"I'm sorry! I couldn't help it, it's so itchy!!" he wailed.

"Come on you, let's go put something on your hands." Miles sighed.

After making sure Charlie wouldn't be scratching the spots, Miles made his way up to his room. He flopped down onto his queen size bed and rubbed his face. His walls were plastered with various posters ranging from anime to comic books to tv shows. He had dozens of collectible items scattered around his room. His parents couldn't understand his obsession with posters and collectibles, but he didn't need them to. He just needed them not to bug him about it. He turned his head to look into his mirror. He looked at the boy staring back at him. Dark brown, almost black hair, looking decidedly messy. Light brown eyes hiding specks of green that could only be seen in the right lighting. His nose was mostly straight but it had what he liked to call a camel hump; a little bump on the bridge that he shared with many of his family members. His lips were very full, sometimes they looked like they could burst open. Miles moved his eyes further up to the eyelashes, they were long and thick. The kind girls would get jealous of because they had to use mascara to get the same effect. And just above those eyes were thick black brows that had an arch on the outer end.

Miles was broken out of his thrall when his phone vibrated in his pocket. It was a text from an unknown number. Curious, he unlocked his phone and opened up the message.

Hey, It's Taehyung. I just wanted to say thanks for making friends with me today. I didn't expect to have such a great first day :)

Miles couldn't stop himself from smiling. He remembered now that he had given Taehyung his number and said to call or text if he ever needed something. He realized he should probably text something back. He thought for a few moments before typing.

Hey, I'm glad I could help you have a great day :D You get all your homework okay? Also, thanks for the chocolate :3

He waited for several seconds before a reply came through.

I did, thank you. It was no problem, I wouldn't want my new friend to go hungry lol

Miles' heart skipped a beat and he smiled again. He was glad he had made friends with Taehyung. His phone buzzed and another text came through.

I'm going to get started on my homework, I'll see you tomorrow :)

Miles was full on grinning now. His new friend was looking forward to seeing him again. The thought made him happy. Taehyung's face appeared in his mind, smiling that rectangular smile that showed all his teeth. Miles caught a twitching sensation in his pants and he realized that he was getting hard thinking about Taehyung.

"Fuck." he sighed, as he realized the implication.

It had snowed heavily during the night, so Miles was forced to put on snow boots again. He trudged through the ankle deep fresh powder, forcing his gloved hands as far into his hoodie's pockets as they would go. The music blaring in his earphones was so loud he didn't hear someone calling to him. He jumped when he felt a hand on his shoulder.
